Alabaster or Goo? I know I'm gonna start some fires, but I kinda think my page looks better in Goo.

I think your page looks ok in all four skins. You've obviously put a lot of effort into it. It is a very large page though so some people might not be able to load it at all. Have you considered moving your fish tanks to a separate page?
You have one of my Kevin cartoons on your space . Thank you. You must read tomorrow .

I prefer goo! but did find myself being strangely drawn to brunel for a while. I think i am recovered now though!

Looks good in Brunel
OK, I know... I'm sad coz I use Brunel!!... So what's new?
One suggestion, I'd slow down the fish a little, they're swimming that fast that with the refresh rate of my screen they're almost jumping across the screen....
Apart from that, you've obviously put a heck of a lot of effort into that page... Congratulations.

The fish they are racing, some are faster than others...
I am using as much cross platform/browser, techniques as I know how to, but I will not compromise a web page just because of a pokey old computer.
IMHO any computer( Mac, PC, or whatever) needs at least 800mhz processor to work properly on the internet, as it is commerically designed today. That is of course not applicable if the only thing you do is send and recieve e-mails.
That being said , I am sure many people are still strying to surf with old pieces of machinery (yes my Mac lc still works fine, but usless on the internet).

We understand.
Incidentally, why did you start this thread? What is the 'big problem'?

Don't worry about it...
Having said that, actually - the problem I'm describing has more to do with screen refresh rates than it does with sheer processor power...
I run a PIII 450 - which actually runs faster than the graphics workstation in the next office - which is a brand spanking new PIV running at 3 times the processor speed - simply because of the memory and accessories bolted onto mine

i would say Goo always, but as you have so many pics - it does take a while to download so may be quicker in Alabaster...
But for style and class then goo wins it!
