Ok here's a riddle:
This guy chops off his arm, wraps it up and sends it through the post to this other guy, who unwraps it, examines it and is pleased. He then wraps it up again and sends it off to another guy, who unwraps it and is also pleased. He then wraps it back up and sends it back to the original guy.
Question is, why were those two guys so pleased?

The three guys were stranded on a desert island. With nothing to eat, they resorted to a form of cannibalism - luckily, one of the three blokes was a surgeon. The three of them made a pact that they would each give up an arm so that the three of them could survive. He removed an arm from one bloke, which kept hunger at bay for a while. Then he removed an arm from the second guy, which kept them going a little bit longer. Then they got rescued.
The guy in teh riddle who chops his arm off is the surgeon - he then sends it to one of the others (who then gives it to the third bloke) to show that he has kept the pact.

Morbid Dr. very morbid.... probably why i liked it so much!
Hey all apologies for not filling up thread space more often but currently my net access is shocking. Thankfully not literally.
As for me i heard a rather irritating statement to the old phrase...
"How long is a peice of string?" the other day... Almost a riddle but not quite... give it a go anyway! I promise to have a proper riddle next time!

Ref: the surgeon's arm.
How does he wrap it up with only one arm? How would he hold the string in place to tie the knot?

The answer to the blue mark/red mark test is either that they all have blue marks, or that the winner is the only one with a red mark.
The winner would see blue marks on the other two men. The other two would each see one blue mark and one red mark, so all three men would raise their hands. I do not understand how the winner would know if his mark was red or blue, for the woman could have marked them all blue.

How long is a piece of string?
That depends. How long was the original string that this is a piece of?

I made this one up, so I don't know if it's any good. Here goes anyway.
My skin is on the outside, but my hair is on the inside.
I run, but don't enjoy it,
although no matter how fast you can run, I will always get there first.
What am I?

Here are some more:
1. A man passes by a window. He hears a phone ring and he screams.
2. A man is found dead hanging from a beam in an empty hut. His truck is outside.
3. A man walks into a bar and asks for a drink. The barman takes out a gun and points it at the man. The man says "Thank you" and leaves the bar.

1) Some major catastrophe had struck Earth, the bloke thought he was the only survivor. He couldn't face that prospect, so jumped off a tall building. On his way down, he hears a 'phone ringing...
2) Is this the ice block one?
3) The man had hiccups. He asked for a glass of water, but the barman knew the other cure was a sudden shock, which he duly provided.

I think I have an answer to thEntity's riddle from way back:
The beginning of eternity,
The end of time and space,
The beginning of the end,
And the end of every place.
What is it?
Could it be the letter E?
