Dear Mr President
I very much enjoy being part of pointless lists, and request that I be made Ambassador to Obscure Kingdoms.
I also take this oppertunity to congratulate you on you election and to wish you a long and happy fascist dictatorship/ benign rule/ bemused presidency (delete whichever does not apply).

Hi Peregrin...
Congrats once again...
A couple of minor requests...
1. Could you change my title to 'Minister of Science and Technology'?
2. Could you also put me down as 'Ambassador to San Beta'?
Cheers...

Thank you both... and I will fulfill your requests now!
*Peregrin clicks his fingers and two presidential aides in sunglasses come in and enstate the Ministership and Ambassadorship, hand them their Alabaster House Passes, inflatable limos, and 'Free Pint' coupons for the Forum & Firkin*

It's a fancy dress ball so be prepared to look silly! The rules are stated on the page.

Well Peregrin. Congratulations on your election. I've noticed that your government is currently lacking a Minister for Truth, Justice and Where to Stuff Them. Which is a good thing, may I hasten to add, and I do not volunteer for the post, nor do I recommend that you accept anyone else in the position.
Instead, I would like to volunteer for the post of Minister for Wisdom, Linux and Toothbrushes. That is, if you feel such a post would be a good thing for your government.

Peregrin Posted Sep 30, 2000
Certainly, I think you'd make a great minister. Toothbrushes are an important fact of life and the public needs to know the truth. Oh and Linux is important too. And that wisdom thing.

Why thank you, Mr President. Anytime you want the public informed or enwisdomed, just drop me a line. Now I must go and see to having my office furnished.

Needs some pictures, I think. I'll get onto that when I get my network acces sorted out here at University. Isn't it just great having an office you don't actually have to go to?
Do I get an inflatable limo as well?
Key: Complain about this post
