*The juke box has picked up the cue ... even down to finding the 1963 cover version that the Beatles recorded*
I'd be delighted, Dragonfly ... shall we rock?
*Stands, walks over, takes her hand, and 8 bars from the end of the chorus, spins her round, changing hands ready to start with the next verse. Off they go*
*Kes secretly hopes that the next tune on the box will be slower ...but still L & McC*

*Watches the dancers with a wistful expression.*
I love the old songs.

*Taking the cue from the audience's sighs, the juke box clicks over to the Beatle's 1965 cover of " 'Til there was you." The dancers settle in for a slow smooch. The drinks on the bar start evaporating faster than usual.*

I'm not familiar with tarot cards. What does the Queen of Spades signify?

Queen of Swords-- ewww... my book isn't very flattering towards her... I want to buy this book I found at my campus bookstore that looks AWESOME for reading my deck!!!
Sorry...
Three of Cups(Dragonfly)-- (depicts) THree maidens in a garden-ground with cups uplifted, as if pledging one another.... meanings... the conclusion of any matter in plenty, perfection and merriment, happy issue, victory, fulfillment, solace, healing... Also signifies the excess of PHYSICAL enjoyment(hee hee hee!!! ) and the pleasures of the senses...
The Fool(KES)-- his countenance is full of intelligence and expectant dream... He is a prince of the other world on his travels through this one-- all amidst the morning glory, in the keen air... conventional explanations say that The Fool signifies the flesh, and sensitive life, and by a peculiar satire, its subsidary name was at one time THE ALCHEMIST, as depicting folly at the most insensate stage...
What was that about dancers kissing!??

Oh and of couse these!" *hands St Dragonfly two dozen blue roses...with one lovely red rose in the middle, there are ferns & babies breath in the arrangement that is in cool water in a beautiful Waterford Crystle vase*

Wow, Pandora! They're beautiful gifts for her! How thoughtful of you.
Marie-rae .. the Queen of Spades is the version on normal playing cards. It's derived from the Queen of Swords in the Tarot pack, for which there are a couple of interpreatations. The one that I normally apply is this:
"A keen, quick, intensely perceptive and subtle woman."
Do you enjoy dancing? ...
In some situations, when you're using the Tarot, that card also has associations with widowhood and mourning. Switching to the "ordinary" deck of cards, just as the Ace of Spades is associated with death, so (in Russian culture) the Queen of Spades (Pikovaya Dama) is a lady not to be trifled with or upset ... for fear of the consequences! ... but I'll stick to my first definition of you ...
