It's February... the month of VALENTINES and KES'S BIRTHDAY ... and here is some sloe gin that I made from sloes that I picked myself and I must say that this batch is the best ever and will put a happy smilie on your face.

I should advise you all that mari-rae's sloe gin is actually 40% alcohol ... a small sip goes a long way. Don't mind if I do ...

*Thus refreshed, starts mixing a few bucket-o-tinis*

I remember my dad making sloe gin. Except that we weren't entirely sure that the berries were actually sloes, so none of us would drink it!

It appears that Hati requires a wee pick-me-up.

*Places a funnel in Hat's mouth and pours in a small measure of Mari's slo gin and stands well back*

A pick-me-up and it does seem to have worked.

You might need an though Hati to get rid of the taste. (No offence Mari, but I do think that gin doesn't taste very nice, with or without sloes!)
