::sigh:: It seems no amount on napping, even on my favorite purple couch, will make me feel "normal" again. Nothing for a while, which is probably good. This is true evil... the role America needs to and has played in the world is one difficult to define-- some think we do not do enough, we wait too long before striking evil... some think we help others too much, and still others believe we turn a blind eye all too often.
I believe this is a wake-up call that I refuse to believe has happened. Can that exist!?? A belief in something you refuse to believe in!?? Certainly it can...
I'm enraged. I'm insulted. I have so much to write. But my thoughts remain scattered.
There is something I typed up here and that I would love to share with you... but for fear of copyright, I'm not doing it.
Some of you might now that my location is kinda close to Denver, Colorado. My school was shut down around 2:15 today, but I did not have classes anyway. I can not find out yet if my campus will remain closed for tomorrow(it's nearing ten pm, so I'm sure it'll still be undecided for a bit... maybe not til I get up...).
Blah blah blah.. there's more I have written here, but won't be shared because I prefer to keep the copyright again.

A childhood friend was a flight attendant on one of the United flights. She's gone. All gone. Odd...the word 'united'.
There's a bit on my home page should anyone want to talk, vent, etc.. It's titled: The Day The World Cried.
More military planes, F-16s mainly...and helecopters...they've been the only sounds here today, other than my sobbing. My sister managed to call before we were told to stay off the line...
we cried together. We are Patriots. We are Native Americans. (Cherokee)
I am trying VERY hard to love the hate mongers...it's THE only answer I can think of.

There's not much that I can say that hasn't already been said and it is difficult to put into words how I sad I feel regarding the horrific events that unfurled yesterday. It is not only disturbing, but also tragic that it is possible for people to harbour such intense hatred that they are not only prepared to sacrifice their own lives, but also those of innocent people.
