*Sultandude looks at the coffee stain on the front of his towel*
-THINKS-Hmmm.... in another forum, sans towel, that would have been painful. Why is everyone hopping?-
"Time for oysters and methinks! Greetings Lady K, always nice to meet a fellow Canuck!"
"Gwennie, how's tricks? Will be in the UK for a couple of weeks next month, hope the weather is okay."

The traffic must be very slow today, I just noticed Crossed Purposes on the front page.
I'll better have and watch the days go by.

Munch away dearest!
*Passes Dragonfly a toothpick to get the bits of meat out from between her teeth*
The weather forecast for the UK isn't very good, in fact "they" say that we're in for "and autumnal spell" with lots of high winds and rain. It might be an idea to bring an inflatable dinghy, galoshes and some arm bands!

Seth of Rabi Posted Jul 11, 2001
:: With nothing better to do Seth has a root around for any discarded objects lying in the vicinity, and finds :
1 small cactus plant, dropped by Hati which he puts safely into the corner of a windowsill where he hopes Sophie or Plato won't knock it over;
1 large chunk of filet steak beautifully blue inside, seared on the outside by Mari. Eats - yum yum;
1 inflatable thingy that Gwennie thinks Sulktandude may yet find a use for;
1 lost sentence 'kas ma tohin paluda ' that Seth tucks into his pocket in case he ever has cause to visit Tallinn. ::

*Utterly exhausted by reading the backlog, she leans on her cane and looks pleased at the success of the bbq.*
If we only had some music out here, the evening would be perfect.

Wow, I'm not surprised that Crossed Purposes made most prolific! Go away for 20 hours or so and poof! You've got 40-odd posts to wade through! And I can't remember but 10% of all the conversation I just heard... and... and...
*takes a deep breath and fetches herself a chocolate milk*
ahhh, that's better. Excellent to meet you Hati. Say, can one adopt homeless houseplants, or do they prefer to remain free to roam?
Sultandude, nice to see you! Whereabouts are you from then? I love seeing other Canucks on H2G2. It's nice to be able to imagine that somewhere on this Guide, there might be a person or two who were not born knowing that "beeb" is NOT a nonsense symbol, or that Cricket is MORE than just a musically-inclined beetle!
