Morning, everybody.
Seth - I am impressed, really. When one is able to ask in a local language it's almost as good as having a
with you. Just to let the public now

Lady K - homeless houseplants NEED to be adopted, they hate roaming as they may loose their flowers and leaves when they are forced to move too often. Houseplants need a HOUSE to live in, they want home.
IRL I have several saved and adopted houseplants and though they say that the best plants are stolen plants, I think that adopted plants are even better.

Thanks Kes! *Munches on a raw carrot and a slice of toast*
Hi Hati! I have so many houseplants that our house resembles a jungle and I'm terrible for not being able to walk past neglected plants in supermarkets (they never seem to water their stock), or buying the reduced ones before they get thrown out. In fact, I've cornered our local supermarket's manager before now and complained that his plants all needed watering and then wrote a letter of complaint to their head office as well!

Gwennie - I know the feeling. Luckily enough I've got a husband who tolerates my hobby and recently I heard him discussing about making a whole new window in the wall of our house. Sometimes I feel like starting a kind of terrorist organization to rescue all the mistreated houseplants.
Seth - 'õlu' is nominative, partitive is 'õlut'. It is a totally irregular word.
BTW how comes you know estonian? I mean do you really know it or are you just using web-dictionaries?

"Yo Seth! Free bar tonight ."
"Lady K, last place I lived in Canada was Ottawa. Cool city in those days as the women to men ratio was 8:1. That was of course pre word processor days. The late 60's, ah what a time! It was in the Chaudiere club (The Green Door) in Hull where somone told me about Ibezia and I've never been back to Canada since."
"How's your cold Kasia? I have one also. Still the free bar tonight should cheer me."

*E wakes, remembers that there was a fire somewhere in the place, and that flippin` green armchair. And a Terry Prachett. Ignores the smell of bbq and imagines logfire, fir, Glühwein, Christmascoockies, Warm slippers, Choclate-father-christmasses........slowley slouches to the couch (what colour is this one???) drops on it, turns over

I like houseplants, Hati. THey give me something else to care for, something less demanding than a pet (which I've never done well with) and less invasive of personal space, but just as alive and lovable. Right now, I only have an african violet that probably should be moved to a bigger pot. I may acquire a nice creeper before summer ends though, but I don't know exactly what it's called.
Only trouble is, during Uni, I live in Residence, and during summer I live at home. I don't like transporting too many plants around. But if you've got any homeless virtual cacti that need adopting, I'd love to brighten up my personal space with one! I think a cactus would get along well with the dragons, don't you?
Sultandude, I LOVE Ottawa. I mean, I don't know when it was that you were there, but I've been a couple times in the last few years. I love the downtown core, it's so... clean, and just nice. Not at all like, say, Toronto. Where is Ibezia? It sounds Spanish, like Iberia. Isn't Iberia such a cool name for a place?
