OK, I removed the table.
My spelling and apostrophe use is terrible. I'll get to work on fixing it as soon as I can.

A great overview of the show without being completely fanatical about it. Well done! Enough information to pique the curiosity without giving too much away.
Since I have a habit of making notes as I read through stuff, and I'd hate for the list to go to waste, here's a list of the errors I found (hope you don't mind - apologies if you do):
In Stan Marsh - Stans >> Stan's
In Kyle Broflovski - jews >> Jews
'swept along my popular trends' - ?
Kyles >> Kyle's
accept is misspelled
In Eric Cartman - 'He has too pets, a cat called Kitty, and a pig called Fluffy, to which he apparently enjoys hitting with sticks.' >> 'He has two pets, a cat called Kitty and a pig called Fluffy, which he apparently enjoys hitting with sticks.'
In Kenny McCormick - 'stuck in Cartman body' >> Cartman's body
In Tweek - 'the towns coffee shop' >> town's
they’re should be their
In Mr/Mrs Garrison - boy's should be boys'
puppet/sidekicks >> puppets/sidekicks
In Mr Mackey - councillor >> counsellor
no comma after head
boys >> boys'
In Wendy Testaburger - Stans >> Stan's
In Terrance and Phillip - boy's >> boys'
In footnote 9 - 'full or Mormons' >> full of Mormons
In How it came to be - shows >> show's
It’s popularity >> Its popularity
In South Parks Traits (Park's) - The shows animation >> show's
Trey Parker and Matt Stones musical abilities >> Trey Parker's and Matt Stone's (or) the musical abilities of the creators
hence Trey and Matt's claims >> Trey's and Matt's
In South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut - the shows third season >> show's
Terrance and Phillips blood >> Terrance's and Phillip's
In The Aftermath - shows most notorious episodes >> show's
Also in Aftermath, 'a parody where they do remake the classic film and it turns out...' They remake what classic film?

Good stuff, GB!
Having only had the chance to see South Park a few times, I was (until now) oblivious to much of the history and definition of characters. You've done a terrific job of 'filling in the blanks' - thanks!
Here are a few more nits (adding to Miloso's fine catches above):
(First, I believe 'Phillip' might properly be 'Philip' - I don't have any way to reliably check this though.)
Stan is based on the shows co-creator...
--> show's
TV style auditions to find they’re next fourth friend...
--> their
his favourite pass-time is sleeping with “fine white-women”
--> pastime . . . white women
the resurrected son of god who tries ... deliver the word of god...
--> God (not for any religious reason; it's being used as a proper noun)
There musical talent can be seen...
--> Their
frequent use of swear words. In fact . . . record for most swear words used in a
--> swearwords . . . swearwords
movie and despite it’s R-rating...
--> its
Meanwhile, down in hell...
---> Hell (again, no religious implication; it's a proper noun)
conservative groups in the US, and is right up there with...
---> and it is right
One of the shows most notorious episodes, the season five episode entitled It Hits the Fan, had 162 uncensored utterances of a notorious four letters swear word, making it the most profanities ever to be spoken on TV in 23 minutes
---> show's ... season-five ... four-letter swearword ... ever spoken

Thanks for the help guys. I knew I should have listened in school when they were explaining apostrophes.
I've addressed all those problems.

couple of nitpicks
---> anti-semitism - shouldn't it be a capital S ?
there was an episode based entirly about him ---> entirely
Kenny as the fouth friend ---> fourth
himself into a super-vilain ---> villain
Unfortunatly, his advice ----> Unfortunately
people of non-christian faith ---> Christian
And where is Big Gay Al ?

A very deep, but concise overview of a favourite show of mine. However, my only quibble would be that you omitted a lot of the satire of the show which could be easily trickled in and not take up too much room.
Butters' parents seem very normal, the way they force their son to do things he clearly doesn't want to do is a mockery of pushy parents and the way they try to conform their children to be too 'normal.'
Token Black: it is ironic that as the "token black guy" he is actually part of the richest family in South Park.
Timmy is considered to have ADD, not retardation when clearly he is retarded. This is a satire of political correctness' eagerness to take away possibly offensive comments, even in situations where they are true and not offensive.
Pip is called French mostly by Cartman, more hinting at his xenophobia and ignorance.
Big Gay Al: In fact his red-neck replacement ends up molestering the children as the Parker and Stone point out that being gay doesn't mean being a paedophile.
Jesus saves Santa but is killed because of it, Santa returns to praise Jesus and dedicate Christmas Day to him, satirising the lack of religion on a religious holiday and the importance of presents and materialism over religion.
Stan and Kyle often end a show with "I learned something today", mocking conventional teen 'growing' dramas but equally delivering a normally balanced moral message of their own.
The 'issue shows' are allowed to air only because they offend every majority and minority equally, which is why it often attacks both wings of politics or a view.
"It Hits The Fan" uses a profanity a record number of time to point out that swearing is being over-used in TV and by doing so, the word loses its power. The show has subtly introduced this notion from the beginning but this episode clearly outlined it.
I'm sure you saw most of these things anyway but possibly didn't think of them when writing; I think the deep satirical nature of the show is a good defence against those who criticise its crude humour.

Great entry!
You perfectly failed to live up to my expectation that this entry would say 'this show roolz!' and did a great, great job with it.
My only quibble is that the gay dog is brilliantly voiced by George Clooney.
Good stuff!

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

"[Mr.Garrison] was fired for allegedly abusing a child"
When was that?!
As far as I know he LEFT teaching and went into hiding after his book on that gay prize and when he came after confronting his gay side was told after being congratulated on coming to terms with it: "Oh no we don't hire gay people".
Mr.Hat and Mr.Twig representing his gay side till then.

And I believe that Stan/Kyle's parents are named after Trey/Matt's.
