::steer enter the grounds from the wooded areas. he is clothed in the variant style of military alchemists uniform. a bit dishevled he had been on an unknown expedition in the wild areas of restite. as he saunters in he trips over a cart.:

:righting himself he sees others working on swordsmanship and signs that others have been doing the same. deciding it had been some time since his own combat prowess had been tetsted he places a set of gloves on his hands, each adorned with a transmutation circle on them. he eyes fove dummies in the practice feild. he brings his hands together in a loud slap ringing in the courtyard touching the earth below with his hands he brings up two large stones that course with something looking like red lightning more stones soon rise and form a larg cylinder held in place by the force of the two he holds forming a very strange looking cannon like shape. he focuses his mind on the transmutaion converting the gravity and magnetic feilds. his eyes focus on the dummies and a deep thud echos out as a static chrge flows from the cylinder crashing into the dummies crushing them under a powerful gravity well. he sighs and releases the hold on the stones as the fall back to the ground. he smiles pleased with himself and slaps his hands together again touching the stones as the return to their place in the earth and the grass re grows. he looks to the stunned faces of thos around him and simple grins tunring and walking to the castle:

::steer steps out and sits on the top step of the entry way. he looks about and from his large case of alchemic supplies he pulls out a small shaker and pours himself a martini and drops in two olives and sips on it quietly. he looks to steve who seems to be concentrating on the patch of grass infront of him. he sips the drink again. he removes a slip of paper with atransmutaion circle on it places it on the stepa and presses his hand down on it. the step becomes a lounge chair and he leans back leisurly awaiting the king:

Why do you wrench me from my trance?

Sir Knight, not so hard, your hurting me,

Why were you grabbing for my sword?

Please, Sir Knight

Why were you watching me?

Why did you try to steal my sword?

Because, Because,

Because I wanted it, Sir Knight.

The knights sword is a very precious thing to the knight. It is to be respected and only touched with the express permission of the knight. It is an extension of the arm, It is at one with the knight and part of his person. It is the root of our strength and a place in which to put a knights hopes and fears. The sword of a knight is specially forged on acceptance of a the new knight by the king after many years of training and learning from your sponsor, yours peers and after seeing and experiencing much.
You only receive one and it is yours for life. You never leave it far from you. It is yours and yours alone and it shows who you are and how you should act.

::as they pass steer continues onward to the castle... perhaps the king is in today. steer is oblivious to most mundane things and himself is unaware of the king and lil though all the signs are in place steer is the type who would think nothing about them. he meanders to the castles door:

Ben, takes these oiks to the guard house and talk to the captain of the guards. Ask him if he has any jobs for little boys who think it's alright to steal knights swords. i shall be along shortly to check that they are performing to his wishes.

He is coming along. His skill with sword is better than mine at his age. I feel he could become a great knight if guided down the right path. However like all young lads, he rushs at things. We shall need to teach thought before action.

our leige has been acting rather oddly at the moment dont you think. i am at the moment awaiting his return from where ever it is that he and the lady lil go to so that i can try and sort out whats going on.
