Well... nominations have closed and we had a final rush of three new pairings for the race!
The new candidates are an interesting selection. Most are comparitively new compared to our other runners, and two appear to be so new that their application to be on the presidential campaign is just about the only thing they have done so far on h2g2!

So... the last three to join the race are as follows:

• Insane Endeavour and Ming

• The Big C and Njan

• Login and Holistic Detective

I am sure that you will be hearing plenty from them in the coming weeks.

The big scandal of this week has been the attempt to remove Demon Drawer from the race! Find out about this recently breaking story in this article which mysteriously appeared on the editor's desk the other day.
