As I write, Dreamweaver & Lilla Spöket are
baking TWO
cakes
1) A batcake
for Lilla Spöket's birthday tomorrow
2) This year's Christmas cake

Christmas Cake
This year's "miracle" has once again been accomplished!
But I still CAN'T figure out how
3 litres of mixed dried fruit
1 litre of whisked egg, whisky and other "wet" ingredients
all packs down (with room to spare!) in a 2-LITRE cake form .....

Hapi, this site is the story of Marie Laveau, the most well known voodoo priestess of New Orleans. http://www.artsci.lsu.edu/phil/faculty/payne/Projects/LaRel/EDick/MLaveau01.html
Well, my costume is finished! Those buttons took forever.
It's not bad for an old fashioned outfit of the sort worn in Louisiana about 1800: Blue dress, white apron, white cap...
Does anyone have any scary stories they would like to share? I'd love to hear some.

My grandmother's grandmother probably had a dress much like this. I think that is the right generation, my grandmother was born in 1896, and she was the youngest of a large family (you don't really want to know how many...).
