I don't like this game anymore, Captain.

Oh no, his kneecaps have fallen off.
Sigh.
I wish the world famous Eccles was here.

Neddy Seagoon
Grytpype-Thynne, Bloodnok, Crun, Bluebottle.
Eccles and Moriarty have no one to play with

Busterbone Posted Sep 2, 2001
Who did which voice Red Dog.
I think Harry Seccombe did Neddy but the rest escape me

Harry Secombe = Neddy Seagoon
Peter Sellers = BLUEBOTTLE, Grytpype-Thynne, Bloodnok, Crun, Mate
Spike Milligan = Eccles and Moriarty
I met Spike Milligan last year - he was practically deaf, so I had to shout at him, but he does a great Bluebottle imperssion

I met him when he was doing a book signing of "Treasure Island, According To Spike Milligan", which he told me was the last of his "...According To Spike Milligan" books. Whether that means he planned to give up writing altogether, or just his "According To" series, I do not know. He hasn't published anything new since, just an anthology of his earlier work.
You can imagine how long I queued in order to meet him!
Strange thing was, it was only a few days after I met Micheal Sheard in W.H.Smiths where he was doing a book signing, and no-one wanted to buy his book or get his autograph. Which was sad, but I was able to chat to him uninterrupted for about 38 minutes.

Michael Sheard the Actor??
Did he play Hitler?
Not in the same league as Spike surely??
*he says almost completely ignorant of Sheards work*

Bluebottle Posted Sep 2, 2001
Michael Sheard has played:
Hitler - several times, including in "The Last Crusade"
Admiral Ozzle - in The Empire Strikes Back
Lots of People - in "Doctor Who" and "Blake's 7"
And a teacher in Grange Hill, except I was never allowed to watch it as a kid, so I don't know who he was.

The only book signing I've been too was for Terry Pratchett.
He signed "Pyramids" for me.
The guy behind me in the queue had bought a dozen Pratchett books to be signed so Terry was more interested in him.

He's the person I'd next like to go to a signing for - alas, he hasn't come to Southampton, or anywhere in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight, that I know of.
If you find out about his signing schedule, let me know!
