2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Jan 10, 2005
I'm a definate; pressuming nothing suddenly springs up on that date that I can't ignore and that I find a cheapish hotel type place to stay the night

Erm..don't be so sure. I am apparently both definite *and* possible. Which, interestingly enough sums up the situation nicely. I can refuse point blank to work that weekend now I know what the date is, but certain other reasons may stop me wanting to attend. I'll let you know nearer the time.

Yeah, as I was saying to Blues, the way I've set it up means that anyone who views the page sees their name on the possible list- it's to encourage people who haven't signed up to do so, but I guess it's a bit confusing to those that have signed up
I hope you do decide to come- I can guess why you're wavering, but we still want to see you again!
btw, do still want to come to Jack in the Green? If so, I'll get on to some mates for crash-space.

Well you've found out by now how easily confused I can be
That sounds fun. Within easy reach in the tart-mobile as well

There's even an EG entry about it somewhere. The usual plot from our point of view is:
Arriva Saturday. Drink a lot in the local bikers' pub. Find the right bikers and sort out kipping on their floor.
Sunday, drink more
Monday get up reasonably early, paint self green, head down to the old town for about 1030, station ourself outside the correct pub. Avoid being burnt by firestarter matt (he juggles fire and he likes trying to set fire to me) 1430ish head up to the castle behind the parade for more drinking and watch the morris sides on stage. Take the piss out the hankie wavers, enjoy the black sides. 1800ish head back to bikers pub for more revelry until about 0300. Tuesday, go home.

According to Odo, I was discussing this at the Meet, and have been offered floor-space. Not that I remember, mind you.
I'd better come along then, hadn't I?

I'm not really here Posted Jan 11, 2005
Sign me up! I've been waiting to meet FM for years, and if I have to come to the backside of beyond to do it, I'll do it! Plus I think it's probably rather rude to say no when I've got a feeling the date was selected specially for me.

Errr, actually Mina, the date was chosen at random in the pub, following a rapid fire txt conversation, I had no idea it suited you so well

Has rarely been the situation in my case, I have to say.

I'm not really here Posted Jan 17, 2005
That's fair enough. Only I'd been talking to FM and he promised that he'd pick a date that meant I could come. Must have been another meet! I'm coming anyway.
