"A choice of Beers, Wines and Ciders for the tasting"
Seems that CAMRA aren't taking their mission statement too seriously.

CAMRA have had a cider and perry arm for ages.
I think the 'wines' will be fruit wines, rather than poncy French stuff.

Of course. Although I'm rapidly running out of space for beer festival glasses, depsite the dog's best attempts to smash them all.

I wish I could be there with you all, but unfortunately it is still looking pretty unfeasible.

Right, I'll ring that hotel/B&B tomorrow, see if they're got rooms, I seem to recall the planned meeting up time on the saturday was 1ish afternoon? would anyone be about Friday night if I came up late Friday afternoon in order to get there and book in the hotel etc to be ready for SAturday might be more wise than me trying to get a really early train on the sat well I'll see what they say about room availability and such like and if they don't mind me checking in like right at the end of the evening (would mean I could travel up on the sat and go straight to the without detouring at that point to the check in doobry anyone else planning on coming up on the Friday?

Phil's coming up on the Friday. The Delter is pretty relaxed, so I can't see a late check in being a problem.

Looking more like I'll just come up on the Saturday, I've a few things I oughta do here before I come up like doing some laundry and I'm awful at getting things done so I'll probalby have to do stuff like that on the Friday (when a suitable sense of urgency has developed ) quite a bit of choice on trains on the saturday a couple that get me into Burton betwewen 2 and 3 PM, if thats about right? must ring the B&B shortly
