/\/The antelopes we found on the planet are sentient- the young one that followed me home can do basic math and feign illness to get attention./\/

\/\Clever little sod isn't it, I'll see if we can find it's herd but nobody's seen anything, I think the herd may have moved on after the jaffa arrived and little 'un must have been left behind, is it being a nusance? 'cos you could try and send it back here\/\

/\/Not really, but now that I've said that I've probably jinxed myself. I'm going back when this is all over to try and figure out where they are. They're probably p!ssed at us./\/

\/\Ok you know more about it than I do, while you're online, we've discovered another mine, what was that ore you said was predominant here, have you any idea why Atum would want it, is it worth anything to us or shall we blow it up to stop him getting his grubby paws on it\/\

Scandrea Posted Sep 11, 2005
/\/It's some derivative of naquedah- beyond that, I don't know anything about it. I didn't even get a decent sample before we were ambushed, between the spiders and the jaffa. I'd try to avoid blowing it up- I have no idea what that much energy channeled through it would do. Remember? Naquedah bombs? Anyway, this isn't like it's an uninhabited planet./\/

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Sep 11, 2005
\/\Do you think it's some kind of Naquadria\/\

Scandrea Posted Sep 11, 2005
/\/Nah. Crystal structure is different. I think we're dealing with something completely different here./\/

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Sep 11, 2005
\/\Well this mine is unguarded we'll have a look and get a sample for you\/\
*Calls to Thamian*
We're going to get a sample of the Ore, Scandrea thinks it has highly explosive properties and is a derivitive of Naqadah
\/\How much do you want Scan/\/\
MA2-491 Sector B
Scandrea Posted Sep 11, 2005
/\/No less than a quarter cubic meter would be ideal, but I understand if you can't get me more. Let's just say make it bigger than a breadbox. I still think our number one priority should be to disrupt Atum's mining operation as much as possible without collateral damage./\/

Ok Thamian lets get some Ore samples and somehow distroy the mine
MA2-491 Sector B
Commander Thanaris Thamian Meridian Posted Sep 12, 2005
Who would you think would be mining it?
MA2-491 Sector B
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Sep 12, 2005
Atum, according to Scandrea he's mining the ore to build some kind of space weapon

Commander Thanaris Thamian Meridian Posted Sep 12, 2005
Thats not what I meant. DO you think that it would be human slaves or Jaffa prisoners or what?
MA2-491 Sector B
Commander Thanaris Thamian Meridian Posted Sep 12, 2005
Well I'll take it as a given that we want to free them if at all possible. To do that we'll need to kill all the guards and theoretically the slaves will all be free. SO we relocate them and then destroy the mine.

It's a bit long winded, we need to get it done quick, but I'll agree to it if we can't come up with a better plan

Who cares about speed? Its about wether or not it works and how many friendlies end up dead.

It depends if we're out numbered, which we will be and if the Jaffa and Slaves WANT to be rescued
