*The lounge is transformed... balloon, streamers and banners fill the room... The lighting is right, there is a juke-box in the corner, and as always a well-stocked bar... *

Yippie!!!! Its good to have her back. *jumping all around the room*

*The doors burst open, admitting a package with wings attached. it flutters over to the present table, and drops onto it. A little tag attached to it reads:*

"Here you go Zax! Good to have you back after all those days! -Chrome101- P.S. How's about meeting up when I get back from holiday... "

*Chrome feels a sting in the back of his neck*
*He turns to see Tweet quickly sheathing a finger, and looking up at the ceiling in "complete innocence"*
*Wanders over to the bar and proceeds to drink everything she can get her hands on, very, very quickly*
*FC puts a hand on her shoulder, and Tweet turns with a sheepish grin on her face*
Ummm... exam results... tomorrow... death soon... terrified out of horribly tiny mind... gonna fail...
*proceeds to drown herself in Guiness on tap*

*sighs*
Why does every one think they will fail.
*turns to Zax conpleatly overwhelmed by her glory*
Wow you look better than ever Can I have the honer of getting you a drink.
*looks over his sholder to the empty stadge*
I supose I should do somthing about that but first I think I should get in some serious drinking I never get the chance when I start to play.
*puts one arm round Zax and the other round F.C.*

*having gazed silently at the small willow during Kes' speech, Zax shakes herself out of the reverie in time to call after him*

*steps over to pet the tree, then notices the wing'ed package on the table*

Not only, has my first ever column gone up in the Post- my results came.
Or well, actually, they didn't.
You want the whole sordid story? Ok...
So, I'm in my pyjamas at about ten to nine this morning, waiting for the postie to turn up. Eventually he does show, and as my Dad has an appointment in 10 minutes, he tells my Mum to go out and meet the postman. Which she does.
As my Dad's looking out of the window, he suddenly says "there's nothing?". I hit the ceiling (of course).
So, I have no results. I spend half the morning punching the walls (I very nearly put a hole in one) and pacing the floor, while my Mum phones everyone (including the SQA- Scottish Qualifications Authority, for those who don't know).
The other half, I spend at the school. Of course, they don't have any results either. So we phone the SQA from the school, in a desperate attempt to get my results.
Much depression follows.
Finally, we get them. The SQA have smiled on us. And guess what? I didn't need all that Guiness last night!
English- A (and a band 1 at that)
French- A (another band 1)
Maths- B
Human Biology- B
Modern Studies- A
I'm so unbelievably happy!
