In Britain:
1. 88% in a Higher gives you a band one pass- the highest pass you can get (i.e. not just an A, the best A). This is almost unheard of in the English department- in all his time teaching (and it's quite lengthy, I believe) my teacher has produced just two band one passes. And this man is a good- great- teacher. Therefore, underestimate me not.
2. In my folio, consisting of an 1800 word RPR (Review of Personal Reading) and a 1000 word piece of creative writing I was marked 63/65 (25/25 for the creative writing). Which is pretty damn impressive.
3. Tell me Zax, *exactly*, what did your English paper consist of?

I will be wildly apologetic about this when I get my inevitable comeuppance (probably when my results come through the door in August) and want to stress that I still love Zax, I just tend to fight more with the people I get on best with.
