How're things? The pigs still fly on my computer. I saw the most excellent flying pig over the weekend, but I can't remember where. Maybe I should retrace my steps(or stumbles!).

If I leave for a while, I'll be back - eventually. Found a place to play my favorite board game, Abalone online. Might go there while I'm still somewhat sober, those guys have been kicking my ASS !! Later...

hey cloughie! great! glad to hear they fly on your computer.. it's probably just my older browser..
try accessing your 'recent files' folder on your hard drive, or (this is a pretty sure bet) check your temporary files folder... usually it'll save the pic in there, and you don't have to go bouncing around the web for it!

I still don't know quite what to make of it. Sporky is tearing out his hair trying out new graphics for the POST

cool. How do you put up graphics(specifically a jpeg file) with GuideML? I have it on my MSN Community page. If you don't have time to answer, I'll look it up. I'm pretty busy anyway - no hurry.

Hey, I never got my satellite internet from those Primestar ying-yangs. I was going to have to pay them to install the duo dish(and buy it!) and have to buy the modem anyway. So I'm just going to get a whole seperate internet dish system. It's actually cheaper, and I'll be all set if we ever get rid of the satellite TV. Life goes on...

Well, apologies to those who are sick of hearing this. The quest ain't over yet...

Over the course of 11 weeks, I have received five warnings from the PTB about my filthy language online. Recently, I got my sixth. Was kicked out of ACE and sub-editor teams. Next time, it's suspension.
Almost each time, there's been other people getting at me, having right, un-subtle stabs at me. I've got the flak while they;ve got nothing. Maybe I should be watching my tongue. True, But, it seems that Taking The Mick Out Of Mike A is not against the h2g2 terms&conditions...
The PTB have been very unhelpful about this. In the last email, Anna offered to hear my comments about the situation. They have been ignored. Every time. I am not trying to give them grief. They offered me to explain myself, now they ain't listening.

Sad thing is, it's people who've apparently been setting me up, intentionally getting me in s******s, on at least one occaision. And then, there are more who are willing to stab their fellow researchers in the back. Not nice to see happen...
