A Conversation for FANTASY FOOTBALL - Season 13 - No Money-bags!
FF13 - Week One

It's the first week, and already I'm breaking my own self-imposed rule about not including *any* Premiership teams in the match selections this season. Well the reason is that all the games below come from the FA Cup 3rd round - a competition that I thoroughly approve of - and thus aren't Premiership matches at all
Tottenham v Brighton
Plymouth v Everton
Birmingham v Leeds
Ipswich v Bolton
Sheffield Utd v Aston Villa
Chelsea v Scunthorpe
The closing date for all predictions to be in is 12noon on Saturday, 7th January.
And the best of luck to you all

No six games is the practical limit, unless it's a special occasion.

I'm going to be and predict now...
Tottenham 1-0 Brighton (Defoe)

Ipswich 1-2 Bolton (Miller)
Sheffield Utd 0-1 Aston Villa (Angel)
Chelsea 3-2 Scunthorpe (Terry)

It's awfully kind of you to think that Scunthorpe will put 2 past Terry, Gallas et al, but even I'm not that optimistic.

Seeing as CM won't recognise any of these matches, I'll have to predict them myself...
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton (Kanoute)
Plymouth 1-3 Everton
Birmingham 0-1 Leeds (Deane, Deane, Goal Machine)
Ipswich 1-1 Bolton (Kuqi)
Sheffield Utd 1-1 Aston Villa (Barry)
Chelsea 2-0 Scunthorpe (Drogba)
My allegiance to the Iron only stretches so far, I'm afraid.

Argyle are a reasonable bet to score first, if we score at all - we have major problems holding on to a lead this season.

I am sorry to have to inform the League Management that I have yet to receive the promised cheque from Master B. He is therefore less than 10 days away from becoming the Wrexham of the h2g2 Fantasy Football League - the first competitor to incur a 10 point penalty for financial irregularities.

Well, it's infamy of a sort.
At least I haven't predicted Dodgy Dunc to score. By my reckoning he will now be suspended that weekend.

Hmmm...according to

Ferguson only ever gets sent off when playing for Everton, at a rate of one sending off every 30 matches or so. Doesn't seem like very many, does it?

just a question:
in the french cup, when two or more levels separate the teams in the tie, the junior club automatically hosts if their field is homologated; generally a grass pitch in a stadium with 5000 seats and controlled entrance will do, and glanford park seems more than suitable. so why are they playing at stamford bridge?
