That is as maybe, but you'll find there is a much better known football team called Grimsby Town. They play in Cleethorpes, and Cleethorpes has a pier.

And here is a picture of it --> http://www.theheritagetrail.co.uk/piers/cleethorpes%20pier.htm

This week is characterised by two things:

Firstly, not many people showed up. There was a real lack of players in the mid table / lower reaches of active contibutors section. As a result me[Andy]g and Master B have climed a couple of places up the table.

The other big event was a poor (by their standards) week for the sprout and Ormondroyd who have allowed Bottletop and riotact to overtake them in the chase for the top spot. Places 2 to 5 are still very close, with only a point between the lot of them, so the race is still on.

As alluded to above, riotact has had a good week this week, and has taken this week's winner award with a very healthy 13 points, including the only full house of the week smiley - applausesmiley - magicsmiley - bubblysmiley - biggrin

The Results:

Coventry 2-1 Brighton (McSHEFFREY, Virgo, Staunton)

Luton 1-0 Blackpool (HOWARD)

I must either:
a) get my predictions sorted earlier in the week
or
b) stop going out and getting off my face on Friday nights and getting up too late for the midday Saturday deadline.

Sorry you're only confirmation of this was the connection point at the end of Ormy's points.
