Now that some IT techie has gone and fed the hamster, and the site is back running smoothly again. I've updated the table.
An interesting thing is immediately obvious from it. Ormy and Bottletop have EXACTLY the same scoring pattern for W/L/D, correct score bonuses, scorers and correct scorer bonus points. The thing dividing them is the four bonus points that Ormy has won for connections and the like.

Ahem - "The other story is that posting identical results for all 5 matches is a really dumb thing to do if you're trying to achieve a big points score "
Can I just point out that had the games ended 5 minutes earlier I'd have had 3 correct scores, but Wolves and Wednesday both scored in this period - also it took an own goal for Brighton to score else that'd have been 0 - 0 which would have been another point.

it's time to throw in the towel, i suppose. now i have to put my last hopes in the "who will win?" cup. so go ormy!, i picked you to win FF there.
McK, if it's any consolation, consider how i felt when pauleta of all people scored in the last 30 seconds of extra time to beat nantes and turn my 0-0 FH into a goose egg... all season long he's been doing an imitation of a linguica sandwich and he turns into eusebio just when i needed it least (as if i ever need anything from PSG besides beating marseille...)

Humph! Don't talk to me about what might have been had the game finished five minutes earlier. I'm a Sheffield United fan, and we dropped 4 places in the last few minutes of the 1993/94 season as Chelsea scored twice against us, and other results started to go against us. We've been in this second tier of football ever since

11 points clear with 4 to play... someone wake me up when they get to city hall... after 4 years, this is getting old...

Yes, but at least we afford that status over Grimsby, Doncaster and Lincoln.

Although they're wrong in both counts, as we are:
a) geographically east of the River Tamar
and
b) have no particular history of fascism at the club

For some reason - which locally we ascribe to insanity - Wolves fans insist upon referring to Wolverhampton Wanderers as "The Biggest Club in the country."

To be fair to Wolves, they are in percentage attendance terms one of the biggest clubs in the Championship. Their average attendance in this season just passed was at 91% occupancy. (Only Brighton at 92% surpasses them.)
Now, if one factors out the seats blocked off to keep crowd segregation, and away areas not necessarily sold out. Then I would argue that that means that areas filled with Wolves fans were probably pretty much full to the brim.
Key: Complain about this post
