Is this - http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=41016 - evidence of sponsorship being taken to a new level, or of drug abuse in League Two?

Coventry 0-1 Brighton (Knight)
Luton 3-0 Blackpool (Brkovic)
Mansfield 1-1 Grimsby (Parkinson)
Wigan 3-2 West Ham (McCulloch)
Wrexham 0-2 Bournemouth (Hayter)
... and as for the link, I have no real idea. I wondered whether there was a link between the managers of some of the teams, but I can't think what it is...

GreyDesk Posted Apr 1, 2005
How odd, I thought that the link would be absolutely obvious
I guess if you're all going to be as dense as this, then I had better make the link for the next round a little easier.

Ormondroyd Posted Apr 1, 2005
me, I think I've got it!
The link is piers: at Brighton, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Cleethorpes (where Grimsby play) and, of course, that Wigan Pier that George Orwell wote about.
Coventry 1-1 Brighton (Jorgensen)
Luton 3-1 Blackpool (Nicholls)
Manfield 1-0 Grimsby (Barker)
Wigan 2-0 West Ham (Roberts)
Wrexham 2-1 Bournemouth (Sam)

You're excused. I was trying to get somewhere with hidden words again. This time it's a dark tale of violence committed by a MU defender after someone racially abused his new hairpiece...
Vent right on black man. Grim wig. Wes wrex mouth.

Coventry 1 Brighton 0 Stern John
Luton 3 Blackpool 0 Brkovic (surely this time he'll score)
Mansfield 1 Grimsby 1 Larkin
Wigan 3 West Ham 2 Ellington
Wrexham 0 Bournemouth 3 Steve Fletcher
The link is Brighton, Blackpool, Grimsby, Wigan and Bournemouth all have piers.
FF13 - Week Thirteen
Mu Beta Posted Apr 1, 2005
Grimsby certainly doesn't. It'd be Cleethorpes you'd be wanting. But Ormy already said that.

Coventry 1-0 Brighton (John)
Luton 1-2 Blackpool (Murphy)
Mansfield 2-2 Grimsby (Larkin)
Wigan 4-1 West Ham (Roberts)
Wrexham 0-2 Bournemouth (Hayter)
And once again I can't enter the bonus point competition

McKay The Disorganised Posted Apr 1, 2005
I'd thought about the pier idea, but Grimsby was the stumbling block for me.
Coventry 3 - 1 Brighton - Shaun Goater (Feeeeeeeeeed The Goat)
Luton 3 - 1 Blackpool - Steve Howard
Mansfield 2 - 0 Grimsby - Richard Barker
Wigan 1 - 0 West Ham - Nathan Ellington
Wrexham 0 - 1 Bournemouth - James Hayter
However as I'm still needing points I'll go for a book title connection - Brighton Rock, The Rules of Luton (Arthur Hailey was born in Luton), Mansfield Park, The Road to Wigan Pier(100 years since the birth of George Orwell), and one about Wrexham or Bournemouth, neither of which I can think of....

The deadline has passed with only 11 entries! Are some people still on an Easter break or have they conceded defeat?
