My internet connection is not much faster than dial-up, this morning. Is it the public wifi? The Iowa caucus? An Elbonian DDOS attack?
Vip, because I'm so happy to see you back, I will give you a last-to-the-forum exemption; you can wear a LARP costume instead.

I fitted in Coventry as well as Manchester and Sheffield yesterday, so by the time I got home I felt like I'd circumnavigated the globe. But I don't now need to go into the office today; and I included *two* branches of Greggs in my travels; and I travelled through the Hope Valley and saw some of my favourite places through the train window. So, a good day. No breweries though.

But how many dead groundhogs?
I guess I'm going to have to open the room for political discussion again. The Americans, of which genre I am one, are now well into a bizarre election year.

I was just reminded that this is the anniversary of the tragic conclusion of A695450
Three talented lives cut short.

Bizarre indeed. I just heard Cruz quoted for saying that Trump might nuke Denmark. I'm not sure I want to hear more about this. My time is valuable

I'm surprised Mr Trump has time to campaign, what with his great business ventures and intense interest in genealogy. It's been a while since he demanded proof of Mr Obama's American heritage, and now he's focused on the fact that Mr Cruz was born in Canada.

I hope that there will be an end to the dreary 'mild' weather, as it has been a very unsettled 'mild' winter for the UK.

I'm looking forward to warmer weather.
I'm looking for a long, hot summer in the UK, especially Manchester, especially Temperance Street.
Mostly, I want people to think that coming out to my brewery tap is a great way to spend a weekend

We have a mild winter as well in Denmark. Birds, flowers, bushes...are acting as if it were spring. I met a jogger yesterday and she asked: Is it spring I hear? She had forsaken the music in her ears to listen to the birds. And when I look out of the window in my office it seems that the garden is begging me to come and do some digging.

I ordered this year's seeds, onion sets and seed potatoes last night So I definitely feel that Spring is nearly here.
It has been ridiculously mild this winter in the UK. So we already have daffodils, and early blossom. But it has been a very gloomy and wet winter. I'm glad it's nearly over.

Last year, the month of February had need of snow clearing on each of 23 days. This year, maybe a large sponge for the rains?
