Hi Nosebagbadger. Welcome to the salon.
Lil, I haven't bought saffron for many years. It's way too expensive. I can survive quite well without it.
The spring tea was successful. I was thinking about making it the final one, but three different people came up to me and said how much they look forward to it every year. Guess I'll do it again next May.

in a triathlon, every has to compete with the same items - does this mean we need to decide a particular type of conker (and hardening method) - I'm going for kevlar, makes conkers very tough indeed

Just as a thought, we might get pooh sticks into the international media if we added an additional event, like Eeore on a bungee line retrieving the sticks after they have passed under the bridge.

My goodness another sunny day. It's 22DegC on t'patio. Don't know why I'm not out there.
England stuffed New Zealand thanks to the superb bowling. Next test starts Friday.
