Yeah, Seannery does look good. Giggled at Keanu. Disappointed at the lack of Nicolas Cage, although that's for rather in-jokey reasons (he's a running gag in a webcomic I read).
Cast is off! Now I just have another one, this one /not quite/ up to my elbow instead of past it. And my elbow looks and feels like complete ...

Hi all, and I see another cricket enthusiast. Great
Pity the top order didn't make a few more runs though.

[mini the mouseling is almost sitting unaided at just 5 months. thankfully he isn't rolling yet so is still generally where i leave himwhen i return. things could get interesting once he is on the move!]

mini, enjoy it while you can -- the mouseling not moving under his own power yet, I mean.
Once I get my main laptop, I'm going to compete in those worth1000 contests. And I'll watch for an opportunity to use Nicholas Cage -- unless there are no copyright-free images. The rules of the contests are quite strict about that. But he has a face that would work well in Victorian or even renaissance contexts.
Cricket. That's the only sport that doesn't get televised in America.

Does Pooh Sticks count as a sport, and is that televised in America?

I'm baking today for our annual spring tea and ran out of vanilla. Have you seen the price of it now? Good grief.

How about the price of saffron? That'll turn your hair white!

I wish they would show the cheese rolling contest. It's even sillier and more dangerous than NASCAR.
If we add "how heavy the traffic is" to stick size and bridge width, I reckon we have some kind of hybrid triathlon, a whole new vision of Pooh sticks...
Happy belated birthday, Phil!

trying to play pooh sticks while you have a triathlon going on underneath would make life much more complicated - or perhaps it would be a team event with a very difficult baton handover?
