I just got a message from Mike A. He has ~not~ gone off to bed like he said. He and Jo have just eloped!!! He says to carry on with the party and cut the cake -- Jo is going to Cyprus and won't be back till the end of the month, so they grabbed their chance.

NZ is the initials of New Zealand, a country the size of Britain and Ireland combined it has a population nearing four million. Sitting in splendid isolation in the South Pacific, NZ is 1500 kilometres east of Australia. Most Kiwis (New Zealanders) hate being mistaken, or lumped in with, Australians.

The bay to the South of the Village de la Vavoom is called St. Valentine's Bay. Perhaps that would be a good place for weddings - either in the quaint church of St. Valentine or on the beach under the palm trees. I will go visiting and remind the happy couples of the existence of this romantic place.
