B****y Sky News. No sense of proportion.
I must go and buy some food, as the fridge contains one mummified pepper and three carrots. And twelve eggs, but S doesn't care for eggs.
Picture on the Beeb of the road at Warren Street utterly deserted. It's normally six solid lanes. Very weird.

The news here is calling it a copy-cat event. That sounds like they think it's a different group of people. Looks like it's going to be a long summer.

Mr. Cyde: The Tearer and Master of Bad Jokes. Posted Jul 21, 2005
I just now had time to read the backlog.
"Congradulations Marv! It couldn't have happened to a truer man."
*Shakes Marves hand and presents him with a bottle of twenty one year old Glen Elgin scotch.*
"A knight should be able to get tipsy with the finest."

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted Jul 21, 2005
Good news about Hedlites .
I didn't get the job. They gave it to a guy with lots of Primary school teaching experience, which is understandable. However, I don't think I did myself any harm in bringing myself to the notice of the side of the School of Education which deals with initial teacher training.
The good news is that my name is still on the door of my new office and when I got home the contracts for the two jobs teaching masters students were on the doormat .
I have a meeting about my summer job (website design) on Monday. I'm certain to get it, it's just the length of the contract that's in doubt. I'll sign on as an unemployed ant tomorrow, just in case.

Well dang, Amy. Your other news is super, though. I'm jealous of your name on your door. *wonders if she could get away with putting her name on the door to her office*
Now, when there is another opening, you'll have first shot at it, I bet. The man they hired could not work out for some reason and you'll be right there to step in.

MR, I'm not in the building by the airport. I'm down the 405 a bit. Basically at Sand Canyon. Ahh, lunch... I remember it fondly. We should, definitely.
Lil, great news about hedlites Glad to hear she's all right. You could get her a safety collar. Our
has one. It has a safety latch that releases if the collar is pulled on too hard.

*snoopy dance*
I'm working from home, and loving it.
Also, I have downloaded the painting software and played a little. I have ideas about what I want to do, let's see if the software developer in me will allow the artist to come out.

Whew! Didn't know knightings were this messy. Probably only the good knightings.
