What a lot of cyborgs there are in this thread!
Morning all. Drove up to Embro today and bought my ring. Well, half of it, anyway.
indeed GDZ - remind me, when is The Day?

Sure you got me there. Left me looking rather , too... Not that I had any problem with it - I'll make sure to 'hello' you thoroughly when or if you come to be guided around Tivoli

Oh, and we were in the jury room for *nine* hours yesterday. I'm sick of those people.

*waves to everyone from the Ozarks*
Home to a computer with a wiped hard drive, apparently. No settings, no documents, no photos, no bookmarks, etc. I'm a bit surprised because I left it turned off. Unless one of the cousins was using it and left it on. Always a possibility and usually not a problem. I don't know enough about computers to know how to retrieve it all, if that is even possible.
The trip home was long and boring. I left the Towers around 11 am Blighty time and got home at 12:30 am Central time. So, 19.5 hours. Could have been worse. My first trip over was 23 hours traveling time. Which points out why I don't fly out of Joplin any more. I must say I was extremely pleased to see Syn's knees waiting for me at the airport in Springfield.
Annie danced and squealed and peed. She missed her momma. Minerva was totally indifferent. Cats are like that. Everything in the freezer is fine. The stuff in the refrigerator doesn't stink, but I'm tossing most of it to be on the safe side. I'll keep the butter, cheese and condiments. And the apples, oranges and cabbage look ok. The rest of the fruit and veg has to go. It will give me a chance to wash the fridge.
Now it's over to check on Mother and go to the grocery store. Tonight will be a quiet one watching a baseball game on the tube.
Good luck to everyone with their hospital appointments, job interviews, weddings and general stuff.

Glad to see you safe back, I waved as you went over the Island.

We had a bad storm while I was gone. The power was off all over the area. I have limbs down in my yard and some shingles blew of of the roof. The storm must have caused the computer problems.
Syn's brother had two windows knocked out by hail and damage to his truck. Mother has a lot of tree damage. It was straight wind, not a tornado, but damaging nonetheless.
Now, to pick up Mother.

Wow. I'm glad you were here safe!
I was slightly concerned about you having limbs in your yard, before twigging (no pun intended) that you were talking about tree limbs.

Glad you got home in one piece, Hyp. I hope your hard drive archives are recoverable.

Is the wedding this weekend ?
That does not sound good Kelli , that sort of thing is never fun and leaves you drained and dehydrated .
Good to hear you are home safe and sound Hyp , even if the computer and trees aren't .
