Welcome Rynch.
Happy Birthday, Hyp . Sorry you're feeling a bit - firsts are hard. Here's a of a smellfungus neutraliser - it's to hang over the main door of the library and will alter the behaviour of anyone with those tendencies who passes through the portals.
You don't need to wait until Chelsea to try Pimms - it's my regular tipple so there's always a bottle in the fridge - next to the gin
Hope the exam went well, Z. I'm sure you'll have passed - but have fingers on one hand crossed until the 13th for you.
The fingers on the other hand are crossed for MR - though with the pile of work she's getting through I'm sure won't come into it.
Congratulations to D on her art exhibit.
Do you still use morse, tartaronne?

Today has been relatively stressful. I have had mostly high priority network down cases and those are a bit hairy at times.

We've got the irrigation ditch going, for the first time since I moved here! My trees will be getting a good long soak on Sunday! Water!

[tartaronne ] only remembers half the morse alphabet
- but the practice before sleep came in quite handy when I was a scout.
Now the religious songs I had to learn by heart in the first forms at school is another matter......as an atheist and a non-member of a church I know more hymns and more about church practice than the average Dane. Then, I have played music and sung in choirs in quite a few churches....

Just bouncing in to say that I got Lib Dem, very closely followed by Green in the quiz...and completely failed to vote, for which I feel highly guilty but was on a plane at the time.
Now am very jetlagged and haven't read all the backlog I want yet but MUST collapse in bed before something bad happens to me. Even my very eyeballs ache

Well done DD-home stayed Conservative (Anne Widdecombe), a friend who lives in Cheam is glad that they stayed LD, and I haven't yet spoken to my Rugby and Kennilworth resident friend-she went with her fiancee to his home to vote.
Happy Birthday Hypathia.

> Incidently, while I'm here, anyone know what chest pains and back twinges down the right hand side mean? It feels almost like a couple of bust ribs, buy I know I haven't done that.
KerrAvon, are you still alive? No, seriously! You know my hubby complained of chest pains for a month until we finally had a stent put in. If you feel any sort of chest pressure, or pains in your elbows, call 911 immediately.
So you all think a and is disgusting, heh? Ah, well. I like it, but then I'm an odd person. Never heard the term black apple before, but that's a good name for it. At the pub they make a version with pear cider and a thin topping of Guinness, which they call a Priest's Collar.

Oh, and hippo birdie, Hypatia!
I know what you mean about celebrating birthdays. I hate birthdays, and mine in particular. I'd just rather forget that I'm a year older. And it gets worse as I get older.

Thanks everyone for the b'day wishes. And the pressies.
Lil, I'll get the notes to you between tomorrow evening and Sunday morning.
MR, that's great news about D's artistic ability. My goodness. Not only do we have talented salonistas, we have talented salonista kids.
