I suspect my first post may have been a rant attached to somebody's entry. Or at the Aroma Cafe. I don't think Irv was there then, but the IIEM machine certainly was. And Titania.

It used to be a good place to hang out with all the Scandi lot, who tended to be online the same time as me, did the Aroma Cafe.

*Get's a cup of coffee from the IIEM machine for nostalgia's sake*

I should probably check on the ovens while I'm down there. The experiment should be just about done, provided the sub-nano-incutamer isn't acting up again. Not that that is likely, since I just overhauled it this morning, but you never know when a stray entropy wave will pass by and our entropy wave filters are still on the fritz (we're still waiting for parts). Anyway, not to worry, even if the sub-nano-incutamer does act up, there little chance the blast would reach here.

Austin is one of the best places to live in Texas, IMO, but it's hard to find work if you're an artist or musician. If you're a lawyer, well, then you're all set! And it gets pretty cold in Austin around January - and nobody knows how to drive in bad weather. They just drive faster, which makes life harder for the rest of us. We also get the phenomenon known as 'black ice' which looks just like the regular road, but is a lot slipperier.

I do like Christmas, but I rarely decorate. Or I decorate on Christmas eve, then it takes me three months to take the decorations back down.

I put our christmas tree up today, and some lights around the window, and some tinsel. T'boy was enchanted when he got home from nursery - was really wonderful. Then we started going through what everything was called so the house echoed to shouts of 'Christmas tree!', 'Baubles!', 'Lights!', 'Star!', 'Tits!'.

Yes, you read that right. He can't pronounce tinsel. Oh dear.

I still do the Goo.

And I wouldn't call getting the fuzzy pants an award. The last Salonista to arrive at the current conversation gets custody of them. I hear they are very itchy.

Goo is the way to go for me. I was terrified when I came back and saw the new skin. It's like a bad dream...
