Tonight would be my last night, which would be great. I'm used to doing nights in blocks of 7, so that 4 feels like a holiday. But I got suckered into doing tomorrow night for a colleagues, (who agreed to do a day shift next month for me).
But I have since discovered that his sister has got married six times, (and is oddly now only 17), so perhaps is sob story isn't as valid as I've been led to believe.

Well this excuse was rather him being let down by someone else who had organised a swap with him... so she's not getting married again. I think I was told about her last wedding.

No, he's only got one sister, he's just taken time off for her wedding six times. Apparently he's too supersitious to have dead grandparents.
He did tell me that he needed to take friday off for a different reason and offered to do a shift for me. Which is fair enough, and it's the day of the hospital ball, so I don't think anyone else will do it.
I just have the feeling his story is nonsense.
