Let me advise agaisnt Gnarls Barkley. I saw them at Bang Festival in Miami and it was a horribad show. If there's anything else going on, I recommend it over them.

Has anyone else taken a look round the 10 to the 100th link on Google? I posted a question about it in Ask, and only ~jwf~ replied. Is it my imagination, or has h2g2 dumbed down and turned in on itself?

Blues Traveler? How excellent, Irv , and I would tend to agree with Marv - go see The Raconteurs instead

So jealous of Irv and Gw7en right now!
Ben, hadn't heard about this Google thing, but it sounds great. I think I'll share it with my students, actually.

I am packed and ready for the off.
Out of all those bands you listed, Irv, I only recognised two names - Gnarls and the Foo Fighters.
Have your feet recovered?

Now going to look at Ben's google link before I shut down the pc. I did notice that the google homepage has been decorated to celebrate their 10th birthday.

Cute Google logo!
So Beck is one of the successful Swedish exports, eh? I find it a bit difficult to keep up with which Swedes are known world-wide. It might be a bit easier if I actually read the most gossipy Swedish magazines, but I can't be bothered, honestly... I tend to ignore any printed item containing 'celebrity photos'.

I agree with everything Irv said and have been heavily leaning towards The Raconteurs anyway - Jack White is too enjoyable. For those who haven't experienced them before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZYQr3Ivg6w&feature=related
I got through the Death March with only one blister and have vowed to wear better walking shoes today. The music was worth the pain, though, and we definitely worked off our dinners! And I expect more of the same today - with chairs hopefully.

Is it wrong of me to think that sounds remarkably like Ka-Ching by Shania Twain?
Right. Need to get my arse into gear.

Wonders why my nights have coincided with the best week of weather Blackpool's had all summer.

Live music is good. I hope you enjoy whatever you see G7 and Irv. We must get out and see some more soon.
I'm currently sat in the small paved yard of a pub in Salford drinking quality Belgian beer. I'm enjoying the drinks, not paying for them - between £3 and £4 per half!

Get thee to the Raconteurs! (I'm sure you are already, but I just wanted to put my $0.02 in.)
