Hmmm... Gas bills. Hmmm...
The best one I ever had was a bill from British Gas for £8,500 for my little two bedroom house. What had happened was that their estimate reckoned that my meter had gone around the clock and was starting again. But when they actually read it the next quarter, it hadn't. Therefore they deducted 000105 from 999984 or what-ever and came up with something unfeasably large.
The worst part was that customer services wouldn't initially accept that there had been a mistake and kept saying that I had to pay. It took 30 minutes of arguing before they agreed to sort it out

*hides*
British Gas tried to charge me £800 for my two bedroom flat, and were very reasonable when I rang up and agreed to reduce it to £200 after an injection of common sense.

Well, I have done the really urgent letters and things. I think I am going to take my cold to bed soon.

*pats Ben goodnight whilst trying to avoid her Cold*
Though that gives me an interesting imagine of Ben in bed with a large Green monster.
Actually wish I hadn't had that image.

Drat. I just got rid of a cold sore and now I have another one forming in the same place on my upper lip.

I tend to think so but, now the monsters are home so, I can't sleep until they are sleeping.

Okay, if the pseudoepinephrin isn't working to clear up the stuffy nose, does that mean that it's more likely to be an allergy? Because I've taken enough sudafed to make the federal government nervous, and I'm still flowing like a faucet.
Does one get allergies that fast?

Amazing number of Macintoshes in that cat site.
Allergies can affect you very suddenly, but then if you remove yourself from the presence of the allergen they should start clearing up. If it's a cold, don't take the pseudophed. The runny nose is your body's attempt to get rid of whatever bug is up your nose.

I tired to get my cat interested in the infinite cat project, but he did not want to sit still on my desk long enough to take a picture.
Pseduoephedrine is not the end all of medication, but it does help to clear a clogged head. It really won't help to elleviate allergies however, for that you might want dyphinhydramyl HCL as it is an antih-histimine. (note, spelling errors in the previous paragraph are my own, I'm still about half destroyed from the day before)
It's another warm week up on the mountain. I have yet to work two full 12 hour days back to back this season. Last season we worked for 15 day solid without a break. The upcoming storm has warmed up the mountain so we are not being as productive as we could be. We are supposed to open Friday, but it is not looking good.

Tomorrow is going to be ~such~ a long day. I have to be at the county courthouse before 9 to get a good seat for the County Commissioners' meeting because there are going to be two rather emotional hearings. The first one is about road signs, billboards, I should say. One side wants them banned entirely. The other side thinks a man {sic} should be allowed to do whatever he wants on hissen own proppitty.
The second hearing is an appeal by a small faction to secede from Lincoln Historic District, thus opeining three-quarters of the valley to commercial development. Again, on the basis of them proppitty rights.
And then I come up for either re-appointment to the board or for being thrown off if they don't like the speech I'm scheduled to give as spokesPERSON for the Board.
Key: Complain about this post
