Oddly enough, both give me Fuzzy Bunny-Cracker. Weird.
Lil, no sweat on those framed prints...really.

I daren't try and write down all the things I think about the Israel-Palestine situation. Both sides are behaving vilely, but I must say that I think only Israel has the control, unity and 'rule of law' to actually constructively do things, whereas the poor Palestinians are so fragmented, divided and troubled that even if you got group A to agree to something or other, Group B would refuse and Group C would have a schism. So all the balls, alas, are on the Israeli's side of the net. I wish they could see this instead of throwing tantrums because the Palestinians won't play ball.
*sigh*.

Just home from work. Initially I thought that I would be going home early as it was over 40F on the hill, but apparently the temps dropped incredibly fast. We made good snow last night. This morning one of my pumps developed a leak, however. I was somewhat afraid of a massive 1000 psi failure of a flange. Turns out it was OK, but I was still concerned. Water spraying on to a 480 volt motor is not a great thing.

I wonder how they're generating the names. I changed my first name, and it generally kept the middle part of the XMas name the same while the first and third parts altered.

Nice to meet you, Wriggly. I'm either Squelchy Chilly-Tinker (sounds like a problem for guys! ) or Tumbleflump Nose-Elf (RL).

Continuing my boycott of all things christmas, I'll skip the name generator.
Does anyone have 24 hours of sleep lying about that I can borrow?

I've got a temporal penny whistle that could help...unless it's an RL problem...

*staggers gracelessly over the backlog having consumed four pints and a Birmingham Balti* Oh dear.
We have a small problem. The volentry organisation I am part of that provides sex education in schools is holding a conference for students who are part of sex education in schools, and we are providing accomodation ourselves.
I had said that I could fit three people in the living room, and two in A's room *if they were a couple* because he has a double bed (and won't be in that weekend). The girl who is running the conference said 'don't worry people don't mind sharing a bed if they're just friends.
Except she's assigned five guys to my flat.
I really really hope two of them are a couple, because straight guys *aren't* ok sharing a bed if they're just friends. Or at least the vast majority of them aren't.
*Bugger
*
Oh well if they don't like it one of them can have the bath room floor.
Now I must clean. Why did I drink that last pint?

*an apparition appears in the corner of the Salon, there are swirling masses of scented smoke above an ali barber basket*
Amid the puffy smoke there is an image of a girl. Who looks a bit like Ben.
'I'm sorry' she says 'but I'll have to waft over the backlog, my computer is sick and taking a long time to load pages'
*and the puff of smoke drifts out of the window*
