Sure sounds like an x ray job to me, sure many times no plaster or work is needed for a broken toe, however if bone not aligned preperly you could be at risk from infection, etc.

Yeah, I'd get the thing looked at, medical coverage permitting.

I taped my broken toe to the toe next to it with medical fabric tape... difficult job, as it was the littlest toe. The tape stayed on for a day, then started peeling off, leaving sticky black stuff everywhere. Eventually it healed, and now it sticks up in rather a haughty fashion. I decided it wasn't worth going to the doctor for, but now that I have this weird sticky-outy toe, I kinda wished I had.

I broke my big toe several years ago. Didn't go to the with it. It looks the same shape as the other one (there's one extra little lump) but has a tendency to ache in damp weather.

There's some bad toe mojo going around. I hope you guys don't mind if I wear these steel-toed motorcycle boots in your presence.

I forgot to mention what a good time I had meeting the IT guy and talking over techie stuff and old times (when coders ruled the earth). I was made a trusty and given administrative priveleges, and the IT guy got a personal tour of Lincoln, which he thought was exceedingly cool.

It's a group of gilded redwood cones--I've always thought redwood cones looked lacy.
s for everyone hurting and/or ill
I've got 3 of my wisdom teeth (the 4th was pulled due to decay while I was very very pregnant, so novocaine only! Good thing the roots were straight...) a few fillings, and a missing bicuspid. I don't take care of myself very well *hides from Teuchter*

For reasons that I cannot yet divulge, I am so giddy I'm almost in tears. More tomorrow!

Mornin All
Kind of clinging to the wreckage as we are being battered by gales. Celebration lunch today for a colleague's 50th. She's looking good on whatever she's on.

Lordy I appear to have been up for over 3 hours with little to show for it.
Well, a fed dog and a tidy daughters room.

I broke my right little toe several years ago... took it to see the GP who told me not to be so silly because there's nothing he can do about it. Toe's okay nowadays though when I stub it (which is frequently due to my habit of being clumsy without shoes or slippers on) it hurts like an absolute . Moreso than any of my other toes.
With hindsight I think I should've got a second opinion on the toe... while it's quite a minor thing the GP in question was later kicked out of the medical profession for some pretty glaring misdiagnoses (most particularly three people who he assured definitely did not have cancer and later died of cancer).

Those two things (the latter anyway) probably took most of the three hours I guess.
It seems to have calmed down here but overnight was terrible with wind and rain.

We had terrible wind last night...
No, I mean the gales.
Ended up sticking my head out the door every twenty minutes to check things like the recycling bins hadn't blown away.
