I have to go to meetings now. Lots of them. Most of which involve signing paperwork and being all legal and proper and frankly, far more adult than I feel like being right at the moment.

But, again, it's Friday, and that makes me happy. Lucky goes to the vet at 4 today, and so by tonight, I will have a new snugglebunny for sleeping. Unless, of course, Ox makes bones about it.

Whew, new conversation. I'm sure there's something I meant to say in the old one but forgot. Never mind, I'm sure it will come back to me.

While we're on the subject of things we forgot to mention last thread: I've taken voluntary redundancy from Royal Mail and am looking for another (better) job.

I've just shopped at the Mighty Walmart, stopped at Glencoe P.O. to review procedures and pick up a key, gone to Tinnie and fed barn cats and watered the gardens, then gone to another neighbor in Lincoln to monitor and water his hydroponic garden.

After I hauled the groceries in, I ate one of the microwave meals that I should have saved for work. But I was ravenous and had missed lunch.

Special treat tomorrow night: I've been invited to have dinner with a group who are welcoming Tina de Souza, a ptactising clinical psychologist from Sao Paulo, Brazil who is also, according to this brochure, "a lalorixa of the Afro-Brazilian tradition of Umbanda." This is a kind of priestess or spiritual leader. She's also a medium. Should be extremely interesting.

Well done on the job, DD!
