It's remarkable how he does that.
*Matina hands out keys to all the sack race participants. Each key is the same as all the others, having a gold filigree head, a triangular shaft and a complicated business end. A note is attached to the filigreed end by a bit of string, and the note says SAVE ME FOR LATER*

I had book group on the beach tonight. There was an incredible, very distracting sunset. Which was just as well, as we found little to discuss in 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy'.
for the scribing.

*from the terrace* This way, David!
I'm sorry not to be back earlier -- we've had fairly ferocious thunderstorms all afternoon.

If you are indeed the ghost in the machine, could you please tell our network to not mess up for the rest of the night, ltp? I'd like to get a chance to watch the fireworks from our conference room...

mikerhike < tell me again what Freddie does? >
Freddie is Mercury, which doesn't bode well for your astrological chart if it's in the ascendent. Things can get awfully chaotic or turn out less well than you'd like. Or so we've been told!

Ah, retrograde. That probably explains why there have been many crises that we ran into and the fact that I could only see the tops of the fireworks at the big show.
Well, that or I'm just at work still.

Although Freddie always seems quite good (or at least not much different) for me - I got married during a retrograde and nothing went wrong!
I've just jinxed myself for this one haven't I?

No key? Ah, the rewards of laziness.
Ok. More information.
It turns out that when Kelli was finding out she was pregnant... so was I. We must be about the same farness along.

Oh my giddy ant! I've got people from removals firms coming to give me estimates for moving the contents of the Nest to Quirm. This is really going to happen, isn't it?
It's 8am on 5th July. How come I am able to post? Shouldn't we be in the middle of a lockout?

Congratulations Sol! Did this affect the taking-the-new-job decision or didn't you know/suspect by then?
Wonderful news, and nice to know there is someone here that will be in about the same state I'm in for the next 8 months!
...although probably best not to speculate about exactly what is in the water eh?

Oh, and I couldn't post for a while just after I saw Sol's news (around 7am) so I guess it all went through *much* quicker than they expected, or it all went immediately wrong and they abandoned the upgrade...

*grins* I was thinking the same thing, Kelli. We can compare cravings.
I found out - they offered me the job. Murphy's law, that.
What's really weird is this is our first month of trying. Actually I was rather caught on the hop and mildly worried that I seem to have done everything you aren't supposed to. I ate liver for example. I hardly ever eat liver.

Is that kind of thing contagious also through network cables??
>surreptitious stone-fruit heist
While FTP was rather straight forward - the SSH one is clever!
Good scribing, indeed .
While I did seem to run in and out, I was indeed wearing sacks - one on each leg *pockets key*
Now, work ... after having bicycled to work today *polishes halo * Wonderful morning, warm but not too
