Have a great time! I'm off to corfu in a couple of weeks to stay with friends. Also first solo holiday (ever I think) Not sure I'm quite as excited as you are but it will be lovely to have a rest and a break...have a little suspicion it's going to be a bit of a 'My big fat greek wedding' kind of holiday...smothered by love and feta!

Found it! Found it! 'Rocky mountain Hi' ouch!!! Lots of over the pond dwellers in the salon I see. Are Brits allowed? I have Canadian cousins...does that count?

*has been sitting over at the fish tanks, watching the tetras* They've all done quite well! Chloe has been feeding and looking after them -- I think she's quite entranced. 
What sort of other fish shall we have?
My studio has, I think, just completed its first paying job. This giclée print looks remarkably like the original oil I photographed yesterday; if the artist is satisfied with the proof, or only wants minor corrections to the tone, then I'll have her business from hence. 
And she's my framer, and she gives classes, so her business may lead to more. Yay!
boots -- is that what we call you? -- I'm glad you like the salon. See all that empty studio space? You can have one if you want to start a writing workshop. I suppose we haven't had one because there are a number of other venues already for that on Hootoo.
Well, I think I'll go out on the terrace and relax for a while.

Good luck with the studio job, Lil.
Work today is quite boring. It has been very slow today. But conversely, yesterday I was caught here till 1.5 hours after my shift ended because of a p1 case.
