I'm cream crackered again, when does this gym thing get easier? An hour twice a week for 7 weeks and I can't see any improvement

I'm intending to go to the gym today because it's too wet out for my usual long walk but I've hit one of my energy depletion problems again. I'll have a nap and see if things improve.
BTW some of you might be interested in the hypothyroid links in the Ward 42 entry of my journal. There's a quiz!

Hi Amy, hope that you feel awake soon..
I was in London yesterday watching Have I got News For You being filmed, it's being broadcast tonight, so do watch it (if you're in the UK)! It was a really nice day trip, went with my two brothers.
I've got a driving lesson at 3pm, I think or it could be four, I'll wait until she turns up.

Well, good day y'all. Matina, could you make fresh tea for the mountain time shift, please? And strong coffee for Marv?
I DO wonder, whenever we have a bunch of roaming salonistas appear, where the ~others~ are. Looney has explained to me that he's busy with real life projects -- we hear from him occasionally on the OTD list, though. Professor Tonks and Affi are suffering from IAD (Intense Academic Distraction), which also periodically overwhelms MR.
Odradek appears to have descended/ascended into relative surreality. The blog is full of highly entertaining snippets, but is totally opaque as regards the condition of the author... I have discovered, tucked in my hard drive, the text of an interchange between Odradek and the brawny cleaning bot that took place at the Aroma Cafe several seasons ago, pre-Foop. I copied out the whole chunk of thread to a text file. If I get time I'll put it up on my website over the weekend. It's very good.
Meanwhile, I have to finish housecleaning. I got the main stuff -- office, bedroom -- put in place then sat down and went to work or went to sleep without seeing to all the oddments that hadn't been assigned a new home.
My landlady, the one I gave my older computer to, dropped by last night to say she decided to give me a month rent-free because she's so pleased to have it and be learning how to use it (from me).

Now that's a landlady
It is a shame Affi isn't here. If he were I'm sure the combined powers of he and GL would be able to knock me out some kind of automatic photocopying machine. I predict that the combined test photocopying for thre exam classes will take me an hour. Again. That's all I seem to do these days. And the little darlings keep coming back for more. Haven't they heard of revision?

Lil, the coffee was very aptly timed. I could not have needed it more than this morning.
I just found out that the gestapo that call themselves manglement at my pit of despair are hiring someone to monitor and audit time keeping policies for the entire department. I am going to try to move to an earlier shift as I always seem to be able to make it to work on time when I least want to be awake.

Didn't Eatsmice promise us pictures of Eatslots and then vanish into the ether? Or did I miss the pics?
Your landlady sounds very nice, Lil. My very first apartment was in an old antebellum house that had been divided into four apartments. My landlady, an elderly widow, lived downstairs. I lived directly above her. Unknown to me, my bathroom was exactly above hers and my pipes connected to hers. Well, one time my toilet stopped up - as unfortunately happens. I was young and embarrassed and didn't want to tell her. I called the man I was dating and told him that I needed him to come over and unstop my toilet. Well.....instead of bringing a drain cleaner he showed up with a plunger and an enormous box of laundry detergent. His theory was that since I was on the second floor, all we had to do was put the detergent into the toilet and wait for an hour or so then plunge it and flush. The detergent would make whatever was stuck slippery and it would go on down. And it worked!
The problem was that soon after we successfully flushed, we heard a shreik from my landlady's apartment. We both ran downstairs thinking that she was in trouble and started pounding on her door. When she finally answered the door she was red faced and, fortunately for me, laughing. It seems that she sat on her toilet about the same time we flushed mine and she got a butt full of soap bubbles. She told me she was still capable of washing her own butt and for me to keep the detergent out of the toilet..

My landlady got a pretty good deal for the $500 rent money, actually. She now has a custom made P-III 600 with 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of hard drive space, a CD drive, a CD-RW drive, a small UPS, a 17 inch monitor, an Epson Photo Stylus EX printer and extra carts for same, Pontech speakers, a few extra CD blanks, and the computer has a Creative sound card and an ATI Rage video card, so she can play Myst III easily.
And then there's the Anthro computer cart, for which I've charged her $300, a little under half what I paid... but it was the one mistake I made in acquiring computer furniture -- it was too small for me, too narrow. You can barely fit the keyboard and mouse on it. For a non-pro user like Cille, it is perfect. She can put the printer on the top shelf, hang the box off the side, and wheel the whole setup anywhere she wants.
Although we had a whole separate lesson on how to plug everything in.
Well, tea break's over and the house is half-clean and starting to look nice.

What I found odd about that was the fact that it was placed under top stories and not under oddly enough.

*kicks herself, hoping that this will make her brains connect to the server and finally find that elusive name directory, as she is trying to remember the name of that bot that Lil was referring to*
Was that the one before Matina? The hi-jacked one?
