No, he's not coming. I swear! I've forgotten his login information, and so he just CAN'T show up... dangit, maybe I'll go look.

The Masque of the Red..., Emperor of Planet X Posted Dec 2, 2002
*A dark figure enters the now darkened room where the party has been, holding a walking cane, and wearing a slightly oversized red mask shaped like a skull.*
Indeed. As though Arlechhino had any control over whether or not I appeared.
*Casts an eye about for any remaining stragglers, and makes ready to exit*

*peeps out the studio door and sees the Masque*
Hang on for another couple of weeks and you can join the panto! Amy and I intend to unveil our work in mid-December, in time for the holiday season, when Pantos are properly acted out...
*shuts door and locks it again*

Blue-Eyed BiPedal BookWorm from Betelgeuse (aka B4[insertpunhere]) Posted Dec 4, 2002
[comes in dragging several large tomes, a few with pages falling out onto the floor]
Lil! Oh, LIL!
Any preference of WHAT TYPE of Nursery Chryme character? From the Brothers Grimm, or Mother Goose, or something more esoteric or ethnic?
So much to choose from...

Sherlock Holmes Posted Dec 16, 2002
*gets up from behind the sofa, takes off his cap and brushes off the debris*
*puts the cap on again*
*looks at B4, raises eyebrow*
There, there, young man - calm down - or we might have to call those nice young men in their clean white coats

Not long now.
Mac raised a question on the other thread on the matter of casting. Once Amy and I are finished with our project, we'll start a new page here with links. We expect you will explore your new environment and then return here to start posting.
It's likely that your experiences will help shape your choice of character, but anything goes as long as it's related to nursery rhymes and fairy tales. If there is character duplication, the first doppelganger to post gets to keep the character. This seems fair to me. Remember, these are disguises, which makes it impossible to pre-assign roles.
I also believe that we should have a dramatis personae thread where you will post once to announce your character, say whether he is player or audience, and, for players, give a short thumbnail including whether he/she is good or evil.
Actually, this is taking a few days longer than expected cos I'm poorly and have received a few last minute Christmas commissions in my restoration business...
*blows her nose, then retreats back into workshop, once more locking the door*

Ooooh-ooh-oooh... I can hardly wait! Though I suppose I gotta...
Okay-okay, I'm gonna be--
No, you said we're supposed to sign in under an alias, and provide a brief bio of the character (whether good or eeeevillll) describing his / her features. And we gotta be here to post pronto upon kick-off if'n we wanna prevent duplication. [Guess I better have a back-up persona or two, just in case. Most of the Continental crowd manage to slip in shortly after things get rolling.]
Looking forward to your links and 'stage decorations'. Ooo-oooh! Did you say we could use our 'normal persona' (like mine would be "B4") to heckle from the 'audience'? Oh, this is gonna GOOD!!!
Thanks for making this happen, Lil & Amy the !
