Candi - now 42! Posted Aug 28, 2002
Had a successful shopping trip yesterday got some good bargains in charity shops...longed to linger longer in Lush but couldn't afford to get any extras...(btw, Caer, Lush are still based in Poole, according to their literature)
However, managed to get a good sniff which I tried to transmit to Amy's ennae!
Hope it worked, Amy!
I will never shop in a Salvation Army shop again after what you told me MT! I am truly disgusted. I will tell my friends too.
Lil, back soon? I hope so.....

{[caer csd] *fraught after supermarket trip* The self scanner system was down, which meant low tech shopping, it took twice as long, checkout queues were long and bad tempered with tired and bored kids screaming. I shall never moan again at rescans.
Candi, I can't find a website for Cosmetics To Go, so I think they must have gone. I think the boardroom split was because the old guard wanted to maintain the mail order basis, selling things like soap and shampoo bars for use in sea water; tubes of cold water clothes detergent; no water toothpaste etc that they developed for back packers. The new investors wanted to expand the bath bomb and skin care side of it with shops. It was a joy receiving products from CTG because they were so wonderfully wrapped in recycled paper with a free sample slippped in if you were a regualar costumer.}

If I remember rightly, Cosmetics To Go sold this wonderful ginger perfume that was unlike anything I've seen before or since... Sigh. I think they bit the dust ages ago...
I got my glasses back! Iforgot to tell you that I broke them last week while dancing around the flat. They flew off and... My headache (my other glasses are the wrong prescription) has already gone. Whoohoo!

I have a picture on the front page
. Admittedly it's not a topic I would have selected for my debut but you can't pick and choose these things.

Feel the beat rise through you body
whirl spin bob duck and smile
your heart synchs with the rhythm overpowering
your head synchs with the overmind running the show
Hmm, don't know what brought that on... I think that I need to go back to the rave scene again.

Here is to hoping that every boardmeeting goes as well as this one!
Cornflakes and beer are not good bowlmates. Cherrios are good tho.

I like cornflakes and beer, although not too often.
Congrats Hypatia!
