Greetings Hypatia, Enjoy the Atelier and all of the guide you can.
Three days of backlog have been read so here is my $.02
Feng Shui, I am in teh same boat as the bloke. It would take a CAT to make my house feng shui. Especially as my room mate-landlord is busy remodling things. We have a cute mini backhoe in our back yeard to dig a trench for electricity and gas to the new detached garage. I thikn that perhaps that was a mistake as we were havign too much fun with it. I think that we now want to dig a hole just to play with the toy a bit more.

Lil, I really liked that piece. Something about the ship reminded me of the Mary Celeste however. Not too sure why, but I just got that vibe from it.

Does anyone of you oldies (5-digits) remember if there was more than one Sporkulious Eglon around way back when?
I was trawling the <./>NewUsers</.> page for anniversaries, when I came across this researcher: U54913 - would that happen to be an early version of Sporky?

This really is an aetelier. I had no idea how talented a bunch I was joining. I have one of your fish on my U-Space Amy, because I like them so much. I can do words, long, short, complex, simple, but I cannot do pictures, and I dearly wish I could.
Feng Shui? Who knows what is 'good' or 'bad'? If the house feels good then it IS good, and you don't need to pay a couple of hundred quid to someone to be told it.
Slept well, and am feeling better for changing beds though.

Sorry, make that a later version of Sporky...
Well, if a house feels good, you're not likely to go looking for Feng Shui, are you? But if you feel something's wrong and can't pin it down, than I think Feng Shui might be useful
Just having read a few books on Feng Shui so far, I've gotten the impression that it's about common sense, intuition and optimism - some of the Feng Shui approaches to life sound just like my incurable optimist attitude!

There have been a few versions of Sporkulis Elgon in the past. Three if my faulty memory serves.
Drat, I was going to try to troll for my anniversary again but I can't figure out how to do so.

Yes, me included. I'm on March 19, 1999. There may have been a big tv special or something in the UK on April 28. I'll bet Peet (U38364) knows.

{[caer csd] My back aches with the digging, forking and planting but hopefully it will be worth it.
Sadie the and her chums think the path we made to get at the laurel hedge for pruning is just so that they can get across the back quicker. The robin thinks we've dug up all the centipedes and worms just for him and the neighbours have been tying to see what we've been doing without seeing them looking

IIRC there was a Big Breakfast (ICBW) showing about the same time I joined. I joined based on an email from the Starship Titanic mailing list that I was part of.

off of the top of my head, i get 40888, 54913, and 99947 as all being me. I have had earlier numbers, three to be exact, and 24 or so everywhere in between and above 99947.
When was my 54913 anniversary, btw?

Eh?
I had an enjoyable time at the cinema this weekend giggling my way through Scooby Do. It was mildly embarrassing to be the only person staggering out of the theatre at the end weak with laughter. Still.
Belated happy b's to Zeppo!
