Caffeine has found its way back into my life, I must confess, after almost two years of absense. (Look, Marv, I'm not blaming you. ) However, I find that right now I can take or leave it - having gone more than one day sans without any ill effects and having had days where I would never have survived without that sweet elixer...
Cigarettes, however, I have no great desire for.

It wasn't that I'm living here, it's that if Courtesy's brother is living here, and can hypnotize me....hey, that's maybe a good thing. And while he's at it, maybe he can implant a few other suggestions....like, leave the potato chips and cookies alone!

{[caer csd] It is practically impossible to quit smoking if someone else in the house smokes too and isn't giving up.
Postponing the next ciggie is a good way to go. I told myself that I would just get through to lunchtime without one; then teatime, then supper time and as I haven't had one all day it would be a shame to spoil things now, so I won't have till tomorrow, etc etc. That way you never actually have to deal with the psychodiabolical effect of a last cigarette.}

I decided, finally, after waking up groggy, being thirsty all the time and getting a sort of tight feeling accross my head, that the caffine in my life had to be replaced by water. Well, bar two or three cups a day, which I figure is acceptable. This seems to have had a marvellous improvement on everything, including my skin. It may yet be time to give up smoking, too...
Go MT!!!

Time to go and finish rescuing Lil, I think.
*takes the dragonFLYbot down from the coat pegs, packs its carrying case inside the Infinite Capacity Storage and takes off* hovers close to the ceiling and presses the orange button which should take the DFB back to the Pasture*

For some reason, the final LED in this thread is empty in the right frame, even though the left frame shows 8 researchers or so having posted. At least, when ~I~ try to access the thread, this is what happens.
Lil's wishful thinking is powerful enough to cause the arrival of another calling card, on the back of which she wishes that Amy would be kind enough to launch the next thread at her convenience...

Same problem here. I hit "stop" and then the refresh button, and that seemed to work. I'm sorta glad it isn't just me, the computer illiterate!

And just when I'd left the Atelier too! I love a challenge. I'll start a new thread tomorrow when I've collected my thoughts. The problem with the LEDs is described as an 'attitude problem' with the database server. A technical term.

It was a very furiating 'attitude problem' - Greebo had just popped Saturday's quiz question - and I couldn't load it! ...took me almost ½ hour (quiz addictees don't give up that easily...)

The Gas Board is digging up the road outside my nest AGAIN! And they're using a grinder to do it .
When I recover my composure I'll start a new thread.

They're working on a Sunday?
Try earplugs, Amy - the latest ones looking like... like... uh, a little bit like Christmas trees - hang on, there's got to be a picture somewhere...

They can be washed and used again, they filter out certain frequences rather than blocking out all sounds - perfect at loud concerts!
I had to buy the children's size - narrow ear channels(?)
