Lucinda sounds like a girl researcher's name... not that I'm slinging accusations about.... I shouldn't really talk about ambiguous names at all actually, come to think of it....
*hopes odra will make cherries jubilee, even if it costs him a new pair of eyebrows*

Carmel , I'm taking the blow torch along as a just in case thingy, I'm much more handy with the crossbow.
It is only kitchen towels I've set alight........and that table napkin.........and I did slightly melt the bread wrapper........but it was only because the flame was a little too high. H reckons I'd make a good welder though, the bread wrapper was welded nicely to the sugar bowl.
Dad is being allowed home today, No1 brother is picking him up. We are a bit concerned as he has refused Home Care, which I wanted him to have for the first few days as he lives on his own, in case he was feeling whoozy, but he has refused. The old man is determined to go home, but the first day any of us can get up to see him is Sunday, so I am keeping my fingers crossed he can manage.

I think I want to stay here until this is over, somebody should guard the fort, and besides, I can't ride...
*inhales a dustball and start sneezing.*

*Think I'll more than likely go the whole Lord Roxton in this one*
Well as we all seem to be ready, and a few brave souls have agreed to hold the fort, shall we set off?
*Walks out of the door and takes the bold step of starting a new thread to carry this on at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F38024 *

*watches MR emerge from the bundt-cake pan* I always thought Red was taller than that.
*flies under the sofa to talk to Bumblebee* Could you feed the Jirds while I'm away? *indicates cage of large gerbils under the sofa* And get them to exercise a bit in their wheel. I'm training them up to be 'generating gerbils' for PWM.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 24, 2002
*turns up dressed in long-sleeved moss-green dress with long mayny-folded skirts*
*wearing knee high boots, vest and decorated helmet in light brown leather, hair flowing loose over shoulders Valkyria-style*
*armed with long-bow and quiver filled with fire arrows*
*elf-fire arrows, that is*
Sorry, I'll be sort of busy - I'll stay here and make sure they feel sorry if they ever dare attack the Atelier! *looks grim*

The best way to link to threads is just to type the bit after the final slash e.g. F38024?thread=185622 with or without the 'skips' and 'shows' (depending on how long the thread is). That way non-goo users, like me, are not forced to load goo graphics. Likewise, Entries can be linked to by just typing their A number A123456. For <./>NamedEntries</.> there's a special trick using </.>
