Tried that out during a 10-day-free-trial Lil, but found it very lacking in RP, sadly.
Even after lurking the game forums and creating a character on the server reputed to be most RP friendly, the most common approach I got from any other player was a 'sign my fellowship chart' whisked in my face. And the second most common approach was - uh - lacking...
And the graphics weren't quite to my taste either...

Hello!
I was invited by lil because I wrote sole Entries about Guild Wars which are now in PR. If anyone played it or is just interested I'd be very grateful for comments.

Only recently discovered The Witcher - I've absolutely no idea what I was playing at the time it first appeared, because I just didn't notice...
So far, I've played 'The Witcher 1 EE' twice - once pro-elf, once pro-Siegfried. Am now attempting neutral. Am thinking of zombie-style, like the way Vincent described Geralt in the warehouse.
Also dabbled a bit in 'The Witcher 2 EE' but am currently stuck at Kayran - hate the limited keyboard controls and no choice of camera mode, so I've given it up for a while.
But what should have been a moment of drama turned into a moment of giggle because, previous to downloading and playing TW2, I came upon this video:

Just grew disgusted of The Witcher 2 and it's limited options, for the second time. Not sure I'll ever finish that game, to be honest. They could have named it anything because frankly, it's only the character names that are carried over from The Witcher 1.
I might actually be fed up enough to try and find one of the few uncorrupted save files I have of Skyrim - because the so called 'escaleted' status on my speed bug report seems to have been lost in oblivion. Or possibly Oblivion. I sp- right, against the house rules - I fart in their general direction, so there!

Ti, the Xbox updates for Dawnguard are just as s**t, mainly Kinect (who has still got that? If they ever bought it in the first place*?)
*there's a cheevo on Forza 4 (love that game ) for moving your head whilst in the Kinecty bit - it's only 5g (out of 1000) but very, very annoying if you had the sense not to buy into the Kinect boswollox

I like the idea of the kinect. I think if I had been an Xbox gamer I would have got one, but I'm actually far more interested in having it attached to my PC. I'll give the developers some more time to have a play before I buy one though.
Give Skyrim another go, Ti. It's been a while so it won't be quite a boring re-doing quests as it would have been straight away after your save corrupted.

I apologise for the interruption, but I was wondering whether there was anyone who had played Sonic the Hedgehog games who would be interested in contributing to a collaborative entry on it? If so, please head over to F57153?thread=8295227

Vip, I'm going down one more path with Geralt in The Witcher EE - just how many paths can one man walk down? Options keep changing for every new game I start...

So ... for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog who are PC gamers and don't like the idea of playing as a werehog or hunting down mandatory medals, there's a Sonic Generations mod that lets you play the day levels from Unleashed. http://www.moddb.com/mods/sonic-generations-unleashed-project

Been returning to playing Rift lately, although I'm a bit miffed of some kind of transition that I failed to notice due to not playing the game for months, meaning I lost all my already existing characters (three level 50ies and a really nice guild) and had to start anew. Seems I have some pretty good veteran status though, because I keep getting free gifts.
I've also spent some weekends lately playing like crazy trying to make up my mind about ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) and I ended up pre-ordering it. I actually like it that you're not forced into interaction the way you are in Rift, where you suddenly find yourself in a team because you rode too close to a rift or invasion or something.
ESO is actually quite playable solo, although there are some quests you need to group up for. Lots of WoW kids in chat during the Beta testing - I'm hoping to see less of them once the game is officially released.
And I'm hoping to locate the quild 'Mostly Harmless' that posted some ingame ESO videos.

I feel like I am burned out on gaming. The only thing that I am looking forward to is Diablo III Reaper of Souls. Any other gaming I have been doing is just on my phone.
