Hang on, is this like playing chess posting your move by mail? Meaning you don't have to be online while the actual action is going on?

I don't know yet. We are learning together. smiley - laugh

That sounds positive. I unfortunately am at the half-past midnight and tomorrow I have to go to work point, but tomorrow I promise to do something with the new world. Pour a tavern, adopt a dungeon ... something...

Between all the patches and fixes and downtimes of ESO, I logged back onto Rift, only to learn of another downtime smiley - facepalm

My guildies were still there, and as nice as ever, despite me being offline a couple of weeks... or so...

There's a nebula smiley - galaxy in one of my Rift dimensions, and a black moon, and twirly things - the sky used to hold only stars and moon. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come...

I think being the narrator at storium dot com is actually the hardest part to play, coming up with all these buildins, and NPCs, and cards - but's an interesting way to play. You're doing well so far HN, but don't be in a too big hurry to close scenes *points back at posting 565*

Just beneath the main pic, you have a small down arrow HN:

'This game started 2 days ago and has had 3 scenes, 44 moves, and 30 comments.'

My suggestion is to slow down a bit and allow for Katherine to catch up with us, and maybe get to know each other better.

Having posted that, I couldn't resist giving HN a poke smiley - winkeye

These cards are a bit tricky - sometimes I feel tempted to pick up a specific card but then, it feels out of character for Tiruniel.

'Bloody big axe' would be better suited for George, I think.

By the way, I hope it's a one-handed axe, or George will have to hand over the torch to somebody else - any chance of specifying it?

Ah - one handed axe - that makes sense to me now (I'm playing Guild Wars 1 and was wondering why my character couldn't hold a shield - it's because the selected weapon is two handed...)

Level 1 was fun, fetching a girl and talking to a monk, but Level 2 is much more tricky - I've still not mastered the controls, as sometimes my computer doesn't respond, so the character inches along carefully, and then it responds too much, so the character spins in a circle while I try to work out where we are smiley - laugh On top of that, there are many more baddies hanging around, so the character has been resurrected several times this evening... smiley - erm

Worth it to see the graphics, though smiley - magic

The start is difficult, but Prophecies definitely has the best tutorial, although it is harder to play later on.
Also, it's normal to die in Guild Wars, so don't worry. It's not an easy game.

In ESO, my sourcerer sometimes has a problem with her familiars going 'meh, you want me to fight again? nah, I'll pass this time' without any previous warning. Googling, it seems to happen every now and then and the only way to get them out of their apathy is to dismiss them and then call them forth again. A bit unfortunate if you're already low on magic having heaped damage at the mobs only to discover that your familiar is just standing there watching *sighs*

They changed the trait system in GW2, so all traits are reset on all characters... I just can't remember how they were set smiley - erm

The Gamers Conversing in the Computer Room

Post 579

Titania (gone for lunch)

I hate when that happens. I keep thinking I ought to record all my traits. So far, I've had them vanish in WoW, LotRO and Rift - and voluntarily reset them in the ESO...

...not to mention the loss of macros...
