Titania (gone for lunch)

I've promised myself not to download any games on my brand new HTC Sense - I spend enough time gaming on my PC at home. While commuting, I prefer to read a book.

Diablo III sounds tempting. Waiting on the reboot of Gabriel Knight

Definitely. Fantasizing about Wasteland 2 is a major motivator.

I've downloaded SWTOR again but also still playing Guild Wars 2, which is still fun and their continuous updates are amazing.

We also bought the new Donkey Kong, but that's far too hard and not really fun. It's mainly frustrating. Only the last world seems to be easier, which seems kind of absurd. we're not happy with this game.

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

I've read some really good reviews of that (not that I've got a WiiU)

I've been getting back to RPGs again on the PS3. Final Fantasy X/X2 arrived yesterday, and we bought VII-IX from the shoppy thing.

The PS3 is still quite alien after years and years of Xbox I still have trouble finding me way around the dashboard, but at least the controls are still instinctive.

Bring on the blitzball smiley - biggrin

Well, Donkey Kong has really good graphics and the graphics style is also very good. They also have very good ideas for the game as such, but it's ruined by being just awfully hard and some levels are terribly long and you end up doing them again and again and again until you manage to get through. It's good when games have a certain difficulty, but this one is frustrating, I myself can't participate at all because it's so hard. i only watch my bf play. And often (as I said) the controls don't react properly, I've seen reviews where they said the same.

Donkey Kong ought to have some saving points along the way that can be reloaded so that you don't have to start all over again each and every time.

My niece (9) and I made it to the top boss and managed to stay clear until he feinted - one of his huge hands started moving towards us and then he suddenly swapped hand! Squish!

We were mightily miffed at that smiley - cross

Ah, I see. Well, don't buy Tropical Freeze if you don't have strong nerves and patience.

At my house we have two gaming computers, a PS3, PS4, Wii, and Xbox360. The Playstations get use, and the gaming computers a bit. Tomorrow, Diablo III Reaper of Souls is released and we will be playing that for sure.

That is definitely MY kind of game! Thanks, HN -- I've made a note of it.

I was never much good at shoot-em-up games, even the original Doom. smiley - senior My preferences are for eye candy and stress-free leisure for exploring and puzzle solving. Utter wuss, I am.

I was exposed to a very strange game this weekend. It's called Goat Simulator. I will leave describing it as an exercise for the reader. Google it, and be confused as I was.
