Which Uni are you off to again, sea? Hi Arl...
I have only two ways of packing: take everything including the kitchen sink, or take nothing bar a toothbrush. I have only managed to strike the perfect balance once. And when I did, on a 4 day trip to St Pete, two of the others brought huge packs which could not be shifted more than a metre at a time, and another brought... nothing ("but you told me just to pack a toothbrush..."), so my efforts were wasted.

USC, sol.
and i usually pack everything including the kitchen sink too. it's a problem of mine, and the reason i've packed and unpacked and repacked about three times so far.

I'll send you my Dad. He is, gods help me, a scientific packer. I think he looks on it as an engineering problem, but it is surprisingly effective when you have three times as much stuff as is possible to fit in.
I thought so. You can do me a favour, then. If you see a luinguistics professor called Krashen pootling around campus, I'd appreciate it if you re-enact the 'we are not worthy' scene from Waynes World. In spite of making wholy unsubstanstiated psudo-scientific claims about language learning, the man is a TEFL god. Now that is classy.

*raises eyebrows*
you want me to make a scene on campus, shouting "we're not worthy" to a teacher?!
sounds like fun.

Splendid, that's sorted then. Anything you want me to do in return?

Think of it as a favour you can call in at any time... . I may demand documented proof though...
Right. Back to work. Bad Solnushka. Get on with it.
