Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here Posted May 8, 2001
A word of warning. It will rain on Wednesday. Well it is in Godzone.

Incidently, what really amused me about the Biggs saga was why on earth he was met by 60 police officers?
Did they think his walking stick was really a bazooka?

They've been watching too many cartoons.
It'd better not rain tomorrow! I've got P.E. outside!!
In my case, it isn't the content of Mondays that make them bad - I have all my favourite subjects on Monday - but rather the Monday Morning Feeling ™. The day I really hate is Tuesday, so I'm glad I've got that over with. But it repeats itself on Friday.

Grrr..... for crying out loud! That '#8482' nonsense is supposed to be a TM sign. It works on my screen...

How strange...
Oh, wasn't there also a time shortly after h2g2 was back online where no accent marks worked? Like é and à?
Never mind, I'd best be off now anyway. I'm off to check out this new 'God, the Devil and Bob' thing on BBC2.
Toodlepip!

[Sol. Off work and on holiday. Again. Victory Day. None of this airy fairy its all about the casualties. We are celebrating having kicked their butts. With fireworks.]

I think the large police presence when Mr Biggs arrived in the UK was more to do with keeping people and press away rather than Biggs being some sort of threat.
No rain but grey skies.

Indeed, grey skies abound here too, but that isn't going to stop me getting the last of the garden done. maybe back later

So does every student in America, Amy.
AP tests differ. Some are mandatory in some areas, some are not. Reasons for taking them differ as well. It's been a while since I've had one, though. Maybe I should've paid to get into that last one....nah.
My weather's fine. Bright Sun, birds chirping, green grass growing, and all around us, Summer is coming!
And I'd trade most of it away for grey skies, slightly cooler temperatures, a bit of rain, and some fog. Nothing's quite as cheerful as that smell the air gets just before it rains. Especially if it's windy.

AP classes are advanced placement courses that offer study in a paticular class at a much higher level than the norm. They often allow students to gain college credit while still in highschool. Subjects range from higher maths to english to language to science. Alas I did not take any while in school and managed to drop out of college as a freshman.

What ho, all!
Survived the weather today - not too grey, but quite cold outside. I fell asleep when I got home from school, and woke up to find the driveway had been rained on. Ho hum... Still, we had a good weekend.
Woop-di-doo, a total of twelve calling cards! Plus B-17's.
*Gathers them up, steps outside, and calls the gardenerbot, who takes them away...*
